Chris thinks he could write comedy, if he tried. Adam has written comedy professionally, and he's not so sure.
In this episode, Chris and Adam wear clothing before a live studio audience. Phew.
15. Sketchy Sketch Comedy.
Let’s talk about sketch, baby. Let’s talk about you and me and this contrived scenario we seem to be in.
Chris and Adam explore anticomedy. Or ant-y comedy.
Chris just got back from a road trip, and wants to know if Adam has ever gone on tour. Inevitably this leads to tips about checking your room for bedbugs.
Chris talks about all sorts of comedy canon shows that he doesn’t really like, and Adam keeps bringing up nudity. It gets awkward.
11. Why Do You Do This?
Chris asks Adam to help him unpack his questions about why we would do such a thing. Why create? Why put your creations out before an audience? What level of audience is necessary to sustain the act of creation? What's the relationship between audience and creator? Is there anything worse than fame?
Pretty sure we solved all those questions, tbh.
