    Episode 8- Advocating for Yourself

    This week is all about advocating for yourself as a person with an autoimmune disease. It can be easy to ignore your symptoms just so you can “get back to life”. The truth is, when you neglect your needs, you give others permission to neglect them too. You have to realize that, You matter. The way the world treats you matters. Most of the time, people closest to you are willing to accommodate you. Try to get into the habit of asking.     Episode 7- Special Guest, Rudy

    In this episode, we have a special guest, Rudy. At a young age, Rudy was diagnosed with something called Ankylosing Spondylitis. Ankylosing Spondylitis is an inflammatory disease that, overtime can cause bones in the spine to fuse.  Tori and Josh are so grateful that Rudy has decided to share his experience with us. During our conversation, he explains what it is like to live everyday with his diagnosis. And also, what he wish he knew when he was younger. Stay tuned for more!
