Here is a longer version (Carolyn's Cut, if you will) of today's episode, featuring even more hoax goodness—plus a Nessie theory I personally find very persuasive.

Celebrity correspondent Eve Lindley came by to tell us about Britney Spears' memoir The Woman in Me. This is part one of a four-part saga we're currently releasing on Patreon and Apple Plus, and in this episode we get into Britney's family history, her childhood, her years of searching for stardom, and her life until the eve of "...Baby One More Time."

*A content warning—in this episode we talk about mental health struggles, and a part of the story around minute 22 involves suicide.

New listener, just what I need!!

Love this podcast while doing things around the house! Interesting! Funny! No ads! 🙏🏼

Unfortunately, blatantly bias

I listened to the Balto/Togo episode and thought “finally! A podcast that just shares FACTS in a compelling way!” But then I listened to other episodes and there is a very obvious Left view. I am NOT conservative. I don’t agree with conservative policies. But all this name calling and generalizing is just so divisive. We should be able to acknowledge Good on both sides of the isle, because that is the TRUTH.

Great (unpopular) take on Tim Ballard

I really enjoyed the episode on Tim Ballard, and it has aged well with all the sexual misconduct, misappropriation of donor money, and the evidence on how much he fabricated in his “raids”. Sometimes the unpopular opinion is the one that ages the best! Great job!
