I’ve been a listener of Thom’s for awhile.
I have benefited greatly from Thom’s shared wisdom and kindness. As a teacher and practitioner of Martial Arts and moving meditation, Zen Commuter and 5 Minute Mojo make huge contributions to me and my daily classes. I cannot thank him enough and recommend his podcasts to anyone looking to improve their lives and the lives of everyone they are with everyday. Thom has taken Zen Commuter in a focused direction of meditation, I look forward to it more than ever. Since he has made this change, I have taken the opportunity to begin a meditation practice with my 9 year old son. As a Tai Chi practitioner, I’ve become comfortable with moving meditation. After listening to Zen Commuter and talking with Thom, I was inspired to begin a seated meditation practice. On Thom’s recommendation, I downloaded the Insight Timer Meditation App and decided to start a morning meditation routine with my son before our daily workout. We have now reached 50 days of daily meditation. Not only have I experienced the positive benefits, but my son has as well. His focus and concentration in school has improved.His teacher noticed this change too. He told her he started meditating with me every morning. She is now thinking about bringing Insight Timer and meditation to her class. Thank you so much for all that you do, Thom. The world is such a better place with you in it.
