The Skate Podcast

It seems that the fans of the Boston Bruins are not worthy of a truly high quality podcast. On one side of the ring, The Morning BRU, in which Jaffe and Razor seem to be sorely lacking the caffeine infusion needed to avoid their sleepy, rambling podcast that seems totally off the cuff and without concise thought. On the other side, we have this podcast, the Skate, which presents three energized and intelligent hosts but is so horribly edited it is difficult to listen to. Commercials are interjected mid sentence and are blasting volume much higher comparative to the podcast. One host’s mic will be very soft or worse, echoing on the audio recording. This is a C+ product that could be really good with some editing worthy of the good radio station it’s representing. Please clean this up!

This is just like every other podcast on bruins hockey, not including morning bru in that list, and coming from a diehard Boston sports fan all these amateur podcasters are so negative and can’t see it through anyone else’s perspective. This podcast would be completely unlistenable if it weren’t for Bridget. She’s the only one of the three that actually sounds like she knows what she’s talking about. The Brian guy is an absolute moron and listening to him stutter through a thought is beyond cringe worthy!! Don’t waste your time with this garbage

Really good podcast, but please, please turn the mics up! I have to turn the volume all the way up and can still barely hear it.

In a world in need of good/great hockey podcasts, this isn’t one. From audio issues to rambling segments, this is more often than not, unlistenable. In the most recent episode, they were lamenting not being able to figure out how to go live to cover Monty’s firing and not willing to pay for “X Premium” to do so…amateur hour.
