ZigZag

I started from the beginning a few weeks ago and I’ve loved each season in a different way. It was recommended by a mentor who must have known it was just what I needed at this point in my life and career. I’m sad to now be caught up on episodes but it’s time to move out of the neutral zone and start making a plan to take action. Consider pairing this podcast with a journaling routine if you’re into that because it’s been very insightful and growth-focused. I love Zigzag, and I’ve loved all of Manoush’s previous projects. She has a wonderful balance of solid reporting and interactive projects. I particularly appreciate how she has a finger on the pulse of what is to come in business, tech, and human experience.

I rarely write a review, but this podcast and especially the ZigZag project (Season 6) is so incredibly deserving of the best possible review. Manoush Zomorodi is compassionate and insightful. Each episode is a very digestible chunk about 20 minutes long. The assignments are easily relatable and simple and yet so eye-opening. The way the episodes and assignments build on each other is motivating and rewarding. This is exactly what I needed to help me process and focus all the feelings and ideas I have been tumbling around with this past year regarding a potential career transition. I am on episode / assignment 5 and so impressed with how helpful this has been for me. I have shared this with so many colleagues and friends who are going through similar transitions.
