Major drama at the Donald Trump hush money trial. Just seconds after it was confirmed the entire jury pool had been picked, including 12 jurors and six alternates came a horrifying scene. A man set himself on fire right outside the courthouse. Ann Mercogliano was there and has a firsthand account. And we warn you the images are disturbing. And, we are now seeing bodycam video of police arriving on the scene of that heartbreaking uber shooting that shocked the nation. Both the 81-year-old man and the Uber driver he fatally shot had fallen victim to a phone scam. And as Jim Moret reports, the new video show cops getting the alleged scammer on the phone. The 81-year-old man has pled not guilty to murder charges. Plus, if you’re a Swiftie, you're probably feeling a bit tired today. Because last night at midnight, Taylor swift dropped her new album ‘Tortured Poets Department'. Our Alison Hall is among the millions caught up in Taylor mania. And, continuing chaos at Columbia University, pro-Palestinian demonstrators clashed with Israel supporters. And across the country at USC, a massive crowd marched to protest the school's decision to not allow a pro-Palestinian valedictorian to speak at graduation.

After a one-day break, court resumed today in Donald Trump's hush money trial and right away there was major chaos. The judge was hoping to wrap up jury selection tomorrow, but today two of the seated jurors were dismissed! And, this video will make your blood boil. A woman was shopping when a brazen creep appears to slide his cell phone right under her skirt. He may have gotten away if not for another woman who caught the incident on video and then confronted the guy until help arrived. Plus, it's the sentencing of a monster who will now likely die in prison. He abducted a nine-year-old on a camping trip with her family and kept her locked up in a cabinet in a trailer on his property. Thankfully, the brave little girl survived and as Les Trent reports, she's sending a message loud and clear to her kidnapper. And, it's Caitlyn Clark’s first time meeting the press as a pro basketball star and an exchange with one sports reporter was downright cringey.

A historic moment in America as Donald Trump becomes the first president ever to stand trial on criminal charges. Trump tried multiple times to delay the case during which prosecutors hope to prove the former president falsified business records to disguise hush money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels. Ann Mercogliano is at the courthouse for day one of this unprecedented case. And, the whole world watched those jaw dropping images over the weekend of Iran launching hundreds of drones, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles in a revenge mission against Israel. But today the Israeli military says of the 300 missiles fired at them, 99 percent were intercepted. As Steven Fabian reports, many are saying Iran’s high powered military may not be all that it’s cracked up to be. Plus, the search is over for those two missing moms we've told you about. His death sparked as many headlines as the crimes and football exploits to which he was linked. However, in the end, O.J. Simpson departed this world the way most do: infirm, his health failing - but surrounded by his family and friends. Simpson went to extraordinary lengths to keep his condition under wraps. Les Trent explains how he kept it all private. And O.J. Simpson's trials for murder for which he was acquitted, and for armed robbery that landed him in jail for nine years were widely known. However, there was a another case in which Simpson was a criminal defendant, when he was found not guilty after being  accused of road rage. Jim Moret looks at back at that forgotten case. Plus, just three months after Gary and Theresa got married on The Golden Bachelor, the couple's decided to call it quits. This morning they were on TV talking about why. And Costco sells all kinds of thing, along with massive packs of toilet paper, and chicken cutlets, one can also buy gold bars. As Les Trent reports, that's led to a modern day gold rush.
