Q&A Session Forty-One - It’s All About The Shoes with Mitch Lorkin
In this week’s Q&A Dave chats with shoe dog, Mitch Lorkin from The Running Company: Albert Park. The pair dissect some of the key questions considered when picking the right running shoe, some of the anatomy around why different shoes suit different people, and why some shoes help more with certain injuries. The pair also discuss shoe trends and some of the big leaps in shoe technology in the past 6 years, and its impact on performance and foot health. They then turn attention away from the consumer side of things, and chat about how shoe companies evolve their product year-to-year, and what some of the new players in the specialty running scene are doing to fill gaps in the market.
