    S1 E8 - Michelle - Overcoming Adversity

    Today's guest is the perfect example of inspiration, resilience and breaking down stigmas. For her whole life, Michelle Steiner was told that she was never going to succeed. College was out of the question. She wasn't going to do well in life. The teachers, learning support workers, college professors and even a psychologist [who were all supposedly preparing her for her future] chose to tear her down instead. Why? Simply because she has learning disabilities. But Michelle chose to ignore the negativity and went on to have a successful career, a blog, and a passion for photography and writing. She broke out of the box she was constantly put into. Today, she helps seventh grade students as an EA in Pennsylvania, where she can being a living example of what happens when you quiet the noise and pursue your dreams.     S1 E7 - Kira - Love Made A Way

    My guest today has such a heart for helping the less fortunate. Although everyone I have on my show is helping others in some capacity, this guest lives and breathes charity and serving!Kira Mulindwa is a missionary in Uganda. Her organization, Love Made A Way Ministries, built a school that teaches over 500 children, after she noticed that it was insanely expensive for kids to get an education. She has built playgrounds so that kids had safe places to play. She built and runs an orphanage that houses dozens of children. She is in the process of building a library. She is even creating jobs, as she employs 27 local people! These are just a few of the things her mission focus on. Kira also saw a huge gap in the female health space when it came to access to pads and tampons. She has made hundreds, if not thousands of reusable sanitary pads that have been sent worldwide. This February, a team of 14 (including myself!) will be traveling to Uganda with Kira to serve with her missions.     S1 E4 - Tami - Move Into Calm

    Tami Lysher is a breast cancer thriver, and a lifelong trauma survivor. With a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, she has spent over 35 years supporting women and children impacted by trauma, by blending education, movement, and nervous system work. Movement has always been her anchor. She has taught fitness classes for over 40 years and holds certifications in yoga, Pilates, and is a certified Nervous System Integration Facilitator. She’s currently completing the Applied Educational Neuroscience program at Butler University. Tami is also the creator of Trauma-Informed Movement and the founder of Move Into Calm—a growing program that supports children, parents, caregivers, and educators. By combining breath, body-based movement, and nervous system regulation, she helps children increase focus, build emotional resilience, improve sensory processing, and feel safe in their bodies again.     S1 E3 - Sierra - Full Potential Club

    Sierra Kennedy is a marketing coach with a background in public relations from Alberta, Canada. Over the past couple of years, she started craving inspiration and a connection with other ambitious young people. There had to be a space where people could learn more about money, holistic health, personal growth, and success, but on this quest for self development, she realized that there was void for such a space in Calgary. In 2024, Sierra decided to fill this gap by creating Full Potential Club, a place for driven individuals to network, learn, and grow together. The group offers workshops, social events, and knowledge shares from experts in their fields. There are also online events and a newly launched online collective that you can become a member of. The club is bringing together people of all ages and genders to form deeper and more meaningful connections with like-minded people.
