Bartender at troubled StarBar faces misdemeanor charges for selling alcohol after hours

StarBar has been the center of criticism for years. WRAL News has previously reported on issues and violence at the Raleigh bar. How a group of Buddhist monks have captured the attention of the nation with a "Walk for Peace"

A group of Buddhist monks from a Vietnamese Buddhist temple in Texas have been on a months-long journey to Washington, D.C. with one goal: peace. The group of about 20 monks began their "Walk for Peace" in late October, drawing the adoration and attention of people all over the country in person and on social media. Tua Tagovailoa Released By Miami Dolphins: Which NFL Teams Should Pursue Him?

The Tua Tagovailoa has been released by the Miami Dolphins, with the team using a post–June 1 designation. This allows Miami to spread an NFL‑record $99M in dead cap over two years instead of taking the full salary‑cap hit in a single season. Tagovailoa, the No. 5 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, had been Miami’s starter for six seasons. The Dolphins previously tried to trade him, but his large contract—including a four‑year, $212.4M extension with substantial guarantees—made a deal difficult to finalize. The team’s new general manager, Jon-Eric Sullivan, said the organization is moving in a “new direction at the quarterback position” while acknowledging Tagovailoa’s contributions. Duke Vs UNC: Does This Duke Team Have Flaws? Who Will Win?

The Duke Blue Devils men’s basketball team will host the North Carolina Tar Heels tomorrow night at Cameron Indoor Stadium, with tip-off expected around 6:30 p.m. ET. Duke enters the matchup ranked No. 1 nationally and riding an impressive ACC regular-season performance, while North Carolina, ranked in the top 20, is coming off a win against Duke earlier this season. Caleb Wilson has been sidelined since Feb. 10 with a fractured left hand suffered in a loss to Miami. With UNC already locked into a top-four seed and a double bye in the conference tournament, the team now has extra time before its next postseason game, which could make resting Wilson the safer long-term decision. However, the rivalry matchup against Duke, one of college basketball’s most intense rivalries, adds emotional weight, especially if Wilson is close to returning and could provide a boost for UNC heading into March.
