    The big picture- Rudolph Schutte

    in the video The big Picture by Rudolph Schutte, Rudolph Schutte shares a message about God's redemptive plan throughout history and the role of the local church within that "Big Picture."Key Highlights:The Global Perspective: Rudolph starts in Genesis, tracing God's promise of redemption from the fall of man to the covenant with Abraham, which pointed toward Christ.Zooming in on History: He explains how the gospel spread from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, eventually reaching South Africa through various missionaries and revivals.The Local Connection: The message zooms into the history of Church Unlimited, from its start in Nelspruit 30 years ago to the planting of the Malelane congregation.The "Player on the Field" Call to Action: He uses a sports analogy to encourage the congregation not to be spectators but active "players" in God's plan.     Exploring the book of Ephesians- Bernie Weeden

    To the Saints Faithful in Christ Jesus. The book of Ephesians calls us to live a life worthy of our callingBernie begins by explaining the environment in which the Ephesian church existed. Ephesus was a center for pagan worship, dominated by the massive Temple of Artemis (or Diana). The city was known for its involvement in magic arts, the occult, and immorality. Bernie highlights the radical commitment of the early believers who, upon their conversion, burned their magic scrolls—valued at 50,000 drachmas (about 100 years' wages for a laborer)—choosing the Kingdom of God over their past lives.The Unity of Believers: Paul’s letter addresses the diverse groups within the church, emphasizing that in Christ, the "dividing wall of hostility" has been broken down. Bernie relates this to modern times, noting that ethnic and cultural differences should not separate believers.Spiritual Blessings: She explores Ephesians 1:3, noting that believers are already blessed with "every spiritual blessing" in the heavenly places. These are not things to be worked for but received by faith.Predestination and Election: Bernie discusses the complex topics of predestination and free will. She presents a balanced view, suggesting that God’s omniscience allows Him to see our choices across all "time zones" (past, present, and future) and choose us based on our acceptance of His grace.Redemption and Grace: A major focus is the "lavish, oversized, and super-abundant" grace of God.     As YourselfEdwin exploring the commandment ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ Most people naturally care for their own needs. We feed ourselves, protect ourselves, and seek what is best for ourselves.Jesus challenges us to extend that same concern to others.Imagine what our homes, churches, workplaces, and communities would look like if we treated others with the same care we desire for ourselves.

    Today we gathered to listen to Henri Pieters who is currently receiving chemotherapy for cancer. Kobus had an interview with him and his wife, Linda. Please invite your friends and everybody that you know who is going through a difficult season. I wish I could invite the whole Malelane to hear this testimony! Do not miss this! *Please note that the power went out during the testimony, and unfortunately that part was not recorded as our team tried to get everything back on.

    The Priority Of Knowing Jesus- Rhulani Mkhathswa

    A powerful sermon delivered by guest speaker Rhulani Mkhathswa. Based on Philippians 3, the message sould be the supreme matrix or filter through which we measure every part of our lives. The Trap of Religious Achievement: Rhulani uses the life of the Apostle Paul to illustrate how easy it is for religious rules, heritage, and "spiritual streaks" to replace a real relationship with Christ. He warns that while effort isn't evil, it is a "terrible foundation" for our confidence before God.The "One Matrix": He encourages the congregation to simplify their lives down to one question: "Is this helping me to know Christ more?" This applies to everything from reading the Bible to taking a promotion at work. If an activity or decision pulls you away from knowing Him, it is considered a "loss."Knowing Him in Suffering: A poignant part of the sermon focuses on knowing Christ through shared suffering. Rhulani shares a personal story about the passing of his father, explaining that some dimensions of God’s character can only be experienced and understood through trials and seasons of pain.Moving Forward: The message concludes with an invitation to "forget what is behind" (both past sins and past religious achievements) and "press on" toward the goal of becoming more like Jesus.

    For such as time as this- Gerhard Goosen

    Gerhard shared an amazing sermon on The right time and place. He spoke about how God orchestrates our steps for His purposes. Hidden seasons refine us, faith sustains us, and providence demands our active participation. Like Esther, we are called to recognise that we are placed “for such a time as this.” 1. God’s Placement Has Purpose Even when we don’t understand why, God positions us in specific places and seasons. “The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps.” (Proverbs 16:9) Esther’s story reminds us that our placement is not accidental but providential. 2. Hidden Seasons Test the Heart Times of obscurity or hardship can either deepen faith or breed bitterness. Naomi’s lament in Ruth 1 shows how pain can distort perspective, yet Jesus calls us not to be offended by Him (Matthew 11:6). These seasons shape whether we trust God or turn away. 3. Faith Perseveres Beyond Sight Faith clings to God even when circumstances haven’t yet aligned with His promises. “Wait on the LORD; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart.” (Psalm 27:14) Courage and patience are essential while waiting for God’s timing 4. Providence Requires Participation God’s providence is not passive; it calls us to act courageously. Esther’s resolve—“If I perish, I perish” (Esther 4:16)—shows that obedience often involves risk. We are invited to partner with God’s purposes, not merely observe them.
