    The Marks of a Disciple - Worship | Gavin Maree | 28 June 2026

Welcome to the Eden Ridge Vineyard Podcast. Eden Ridge Vineyard is a Christ-centred community in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) where we seek to encounter Jesus, grow together, and live the Kingdom. Our heart is to see people become lifelong disciples of Jesus, transformed by His presence and equipped to make Him known in every area of life. This message marks the beginning of our new series, The Marks of a Disciple, where we explore the characteristics that shape the life of someone who follows Jesus. In Part 1, we focus on one of the most foundational marks of a disciple: Worship. In this message, Gavin Maree challenges us to rethink worship as something far greater than singing on a Sunday. Through Colossians 3, we discover that worship is a lifestyle—one that flows from the new life we have in Christ and influences every decision, relationship, and moment of our lives. Worship is our response to who Jesus is and what He has already accomplished, inviting us to continually fix our eyes on Him and live for His Kingdom. Together we'll explore: What it truly means to be a disciple of Jesus Why worship is more than music—it's a way of life How our everyday lives become an act of worship The difference between religious activity and genuine devotion Why discipleship calls us to surrender our own agendas for God's purposes How keeping our eyes fixed on Christ transforms the way we live As disciples, we are called to centre our lives on Jesus—not simply in moments of worship, but in every conversation, decision, act of service, and relationship. True worship begins with gratitude, humility, and a heart fully surrendered to the One who is worthy of it all. Live The Kingdom Part 2 | Gavin Maree | 21 June 2026

Welcome to the Eden Ridge Vineyard Podcast. Eden Ridge Vineyard is a Christ-centred community in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) where we seek to encounter Jesus, grow together, and live the Kingdom. Our desire is to see ordinary people transformed by the love of Jesus and empowered to bring His Kingdom into their homes, workplaces, neighbourhoods, and city. This message is the final instalment in our series exploring the core values of Eden Ridge Vineyard, and the second part of our value: Live the Kingdom. In this sermon, Gavin Maree unpacks Jesus' teaching from the Sermon on the Mount, exploring what it means to live as Kingdom people in a world that often values very different things. Looking at the Beatitudes, Jesus' call to be salt and light, and the invitation to trust God completely, we are challenged to move beyond simply attending church and begin living out our faith every day. Together we'll explore:• Why Kingdom living begins with humility and complete dependence on God• How the Beatitudes reveal the values of God's Kingdom• What it means to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world• The difference between religion and true Kingdom righteousness• How trusting God frees us from fear, worry, and self-reliance• Our calling to influence our city and reflect Jesus wherever we go The Kingdom of God is not confined to a Sunday gathering. It is expressed through transformed hearts, everyday obedience, and lives that point others to Jesus. As we encounter God, grow together in community, and live out His Kingdom, we become part of His work of bringing hope, healing, and restoration to the world around us. In this sermon, Gavin Maree looks at the ministry of John the Baptist and Jesus' announcement that "the Kingdom of Heaven is near." Together, we explore what it means to live as people of God's Kingdom today—not waiting for heaven someday, but partnering with God as His Kingdom breaks into our everyday lives. Together we'll explore: Why repentance is the doorway to Kingdom living The difference between religion and relationship with Jesus What it means to live in the "already, but not yet" reality of God's Kingdom How God works through ordinary people to reveal His Kingdom Why Kingdom living isn't reserved for Sundays, but is meant to shape our everyday lives How we can recognise and respond to God's invitation to partner with Him wherever we are The Kingdom of God is not simply a future hope—it is a present reality. Grow Together Part 2 | Dave Hobson | 7 June 2026

Welcome to the Eden Ridge Vineyard Podcast. Eden Ridge Vineyard is a Christ-centred community in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) where we seek to encounter Jesus, grow together, and live the Kingdom. Each week we gather to worship, learn from Scripture, and encourage one another as we follow Jesus together. This message is the fourth instalment in our series exploring the core values of Eden Ridge Vineyard, and the second part of our value: Grow Together. In this sermon, Dave unpacks Jesus' call to love one another and explores how genuine Christian community is rooted in our connection to Christ. Looking at passages from John 13, John 15, 1 John, Luke 6, and 1 Corinthians 13, we discover that love is not something we manufacture through effort, but a fruit that grows naturally as we remain connected to Jesus. Together we'll explore: • Why loving one another is central to Christian discipleship • How God's love transforms the way we love others • The difference between self-centred love and Christ-like love • What biblical love looks like in everyday community • Practical ways to grow in loving those around us As we encounter God's love more deeply, we are empowered to extend that same love to others, creating the kind of Spirit-filled community that reflects Jesus to the world. Grow Together Part 1 | Gavin Maree | 31 May 2026

Welcome to the Eden Ridge Vineyard Podcast. Eden Ridge Vineyard is a Christ-centred community in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) where we seek to encounter Jesus, grow together, and live the Kingdom. Our heart is to cultivate healthy disciples who love God deeply, love one another well, and bring the hope of Jesus to the world around them. This message is the third instalment in our series exploring the core values of Eden Ridge Vineyard and the first part of our second value: Grow Together. In this sermon, Gavin Maree explores God's design for Christian community and why spiritual growth was never meant to happen in isolation. Looking at Ephesians 4, we're reminded that healthy churches are built on healthy relationships—where truth is spoken in love, every person has a unique role to play, and discipleship happens through authentic community. Together we'll explore: Why God designed us to grow in community rather than alone How speaking the truth in love builds healthy relationships The importance of every believer discovering and using their unique gifts Why God's Word is essential for spiritual growth and maturity How healthy discipleship strengthens both individuals and the whole church What it looks like to be part of a thriving, Christ-centred community The Church is more than a Sunday gathering—it's a family learning to follow Jesus together. As each person embraces their God-given role and commits to growing alongside others, the whole body is strengthened, and the love of Christ becomes visible to the world.
