    Analise and Gogo Khanyakude are in Johannesburg dialoguing about South Africa, a place Analise keeps returning to and Gogo's homeland. They explore the becoming that is possible in a young democracy, the lessons the land holds, parallels between South Africa and the United States as well as the healing that is possible when South Africa provides a meeting place for members of the African diaspora and Africans at home to dissolve the illusion of separation created by the Middle Passage.
