After a chilly introduction, Ronstadt’s new ally — Hattie Honeybutter — takes him on a wild tour of Los Angeles, where he discovers a side of the city few people see. An oddball, undead comedian, Kneeslapper (Link Neal), leaves Ronstadt with little to laugh about. Hattie sheds light on the Shadows, casting Ronstadt’s world further into darkness.
