Awesome format, awesome interviews
A long-enough short-enough conversation with an author is nothing unusual. But the way in which (mostly) Caitlin interviews them makes me feel as if i know her, and she asks the questions I would ask if I were there.
I love the bookends bit - here are some other books that relate to this idea. it is truly a valuable learning experience EVERY time I listen.
Elitists rambling
What absolute elitism. You can’t imagine how ridiculous you people sound to us living in Africa. This is pure pseudo intellectual naval gazing. With no grasp on the real world lived experiences of people lower in social status than yourselves. DiAngelo especially is a deluded opportunist. Come to Africa if you want to see real racism it’s called xenophobia and results in you being doused with petrol and burnt alive for being the wrong type of African. While you pander to your naive market real issues of poverty and oppression go unnoticed. If you succeed in dismantling America’s wealth and power you’ll see the world degenerate into wars and genocide all over again.
