Bad on Politics #4: Alyssa Mastromonaco on congressional elections and a grab bag of questions!

Bad on Politics #4: Alyssa Mastromonaco on congressional elections and a grab bag of questions!

We welcome back friend of the pod (and former Obama Deputy Chief of Staff), Alyssa Mastromonaco to answer our burning questions about this presidential election. She also touches on Amy Klobuchar, Elizabeth Warren, Mike Bloomberg, and why we need to keep an eye on how the candidates spend their money (like during the Superbowl). She also explains how the caucus system works (it’s kind of crazy!) and why local politics are so important if you want to enact real change.

We both have a lot to be thankful for and a lot to look forward to. So here’s to making this year calmer, cozier, and even better than the last!

One Day in December Book Club

For our December book club, we’re reading One Day in December by Josie Silver. This was one of our favorite books from last year! What would you do if you had a “love at first sight” moment, but the man of your dreams turns out to be your best friend’s new boyfriend? The book follows the three of them over a decade, through life’s ups & downs and heartbreaks. Both Grace & Becca share opinions on audiobooks, meeting men (#morecrushes2020), modern dating, and definitely think this should be a Hallma

Bad on Paper

There are media formats (shows, podcast etc) that only live from their guests. This podcast lives from the two charming hosts and their honest and authentic manner. The description of the podcast absolutely fits: you are like two besties for the listeners. But not just entertaining with intelligent humor, also sensitive and warm hearted. I am a loyal listener from Europe and it is not because of the SATC halo effect of New York or your really great guests, but because of you both and the chosen topics.

All the best for your future and thank you for doing the podcast and investing your time, even if it is not yet a source of income (fingers crossed it will be soon).

P.S. The feedback tool for podcasts is not as simple and intuitive (read: really crappy) as in other channels, maybe you could give a brief explanation in a desperation minute on how to rate a podcast. I had to google it, because I am not used to this feedback logic (open app-search for podcast even though subscribed-scroll down through all episodes-finally feedback opportunity). Maybe then you will get more and totally deserved ratings!
