Just brilliant

I don’t have kids and I’m not pregnant but I still thoroughly enjoy listening to Kath’s sensible and down to earth parenting advice. A must for anyone with kids or thinking of having kids!

Judgemental and ill-informed

Some of the information is helpful, but there is some very ill-informed discussions and shaming of parents on this podcast! The tone is not supportive in many episodes and some of the advice is very archaic. Would NOT recommend this podcast for new or expecting parents :-(

Stop recommending Panadol to get kids to sleep

I used to really enjoy this podcast but I can’t listen to Cath recommending parents give Panadol to babies to get them to sleep anymore. I feel this to be very irresponsible considering the detrimental health effects of paracetamol - like it depleting the body of its master antioxidant, glutathione. There is a time and place for pain relief medication, but it is not for getting kids to sleep.
