Powerful women speaking out

I love the strength of Jolenta and Kristen in this podcast. A really interesting way of approaching self-help and the courage and inspiration of these women shine through as they take on all sorts to help us in our own travels.

Absolutely hilarious

The combination of these two is just perfect. Great hosts together and I love when the husbands pop in and make appearances when they are recording at home. I have found this a complete laugh and really informative and helpful all at the same time which was a completely pleasant surprise. Keep coming with the seasons ladies.

Entertaining and Informative

Let’s be honest - we’re all pretty curious what advice self help books have to give, and if they can change our lives like they promise to. This show is basically everything you were curious about in a hilarious and insightful way, packed into 40-odd minutes.

Hosts Kristen and Jolenta are an absolute joy to listen to with their humour and their honesty, and I’ve learned a lot about self help books from them. I would safely consider them experts by now considering the sheer number of books they have read and the depth to which they examine them. Hearing them unpack the authors backgrounds in relation to these books and their honest experiences from following the books’ rules shows that just because an author with life advice has been published doesn’t mean that their life advice is any good. But still, some real gems of self help books really do exist out there, and sometimes just one or two rules from a book may be all you need after putting it in the context of what works for your lifestyle.

This is my new favourite show - please keep the books coming!
