MYSTERIOUS DEATH OF: Joyce and John Sheridan
Since 2014, the mysterious deaths of Joyce and John Sheridan have been a major topic of conversation in Skillman, New Jersey. And as you might expect from the title, the story I have for you today is not as cut and dry as certain city officials would have you believe. In fact, the deeper I dove into this story, the more confused, shocked, and angry I became. This case could be a simple mishandling of an investigation, or it could be a corruption cover-up… time will tell.

NEW SHOW: Three
After midnight on July 6th, 2012, three teenage girls walked into the thick Appalachian woods somewhere along the Mason-Dixon county line. Hours later, under the glow of a nearly full moon, only two walked out.
The very last time Dave and Mary Neese saw their only child Skylar was in a grainy black-and-white video. In it, she's sneaking out of her ground-floor bedroom in the middle of the night, her purse over her shoulder, her brown hair swinging as she hurries across the small parking lot to a waiting car.
What happened to Skylar Neese has become gothic American lore: the odd girl out in a vicious teenage triangle. But in the ten years since that fateful night beneath the West Virginia stars, a fuller portrait of what happened has emerged. From award-winning journalists Justine Harman and Holly Millea comes a gripping 10-part series featuring Skylar's family, closest friends, and law enforcement who lived the case—and are still living it. -

Love It!
I think I am obsessed with this show, I just can’t get enough of it.
Not only have I started listening to every episode I have gone back to episode 1 and listening I have just signed up to patreon just for the extra episodes.
I listen to this show while I do my diamond art and find it very satisfying and relaxing.
I also watch a lot of true crime documentaries and my partner thinks I am watching and listening to crime shows just so I can find ways to kill him and get away with it, the one time I ever cooked for him he got food poisoning so he tells everyone I’ve already tried to kill him once lol.
Not only does listening to Ashley and Britt keep me entertained they have given me an escape and get out of my own head for a while, I suffer from severe anxiety and depression and this podcast has helped me cope with it. Also I keep telling everyone (including my mum and my partner) that I am going to make an ‘if I go missing or something happens to me’ folder and they should have one too, they think I’m nuts lol
Stop trying to be activists
I was late to the party listening to this podcast, having loved Serial and Casefile when I was up to date I looked to something to fill the void while waiting for new episodes. I really did enjoy the earlier episodes of this podcast. I’m currently up to the end of 2022 and it feels like Ashley is trying way to hard to be an activist and giving stories that just don’t have any interesting details or endings, same repetitive stuff week after week. Someone is missing, here are the details of their last hours, there isn’t much info, if you know anything call crime stoppers. It’s super boring. Unless the story is interesting, please don’t waste my time.
Is it good or bad
THIS IS THE BEST CRIME PODCAST EVER, you feel like you can connect to people with the same interests (btw don't listen to the people how say it’s bad cause that have nothing else better to do)
I’m a proud part of the crime junkie community.😁
