    Gorgi Coghlan

Gorgi Coghlan’s resume is as colourful as they come. From high school science teacher, to Shania Twain tribute act (!), to a seat at Channel 10’s ‘The Project’ desk, Gorgi is the queen of listening to your instincts and following your joy. She also reveals her love of sausage rolls, Bundy rum and Sister Act, and we are here for it!

With her trademark warmth and candour, Gorgi talks about being a late career bloomer, the depths of female friendships in your forties, and her grief surrounding secondary infertility.

So, what happens when you decide to jump feet-first into the unknown and embrace the free-fall?

    We find out in FORTY.

    Leah Purcell

    Leah Purcell

The spotlight shines brightly on our latest FORTY star: multi-award winning actor, director, producer, playwright, and author, Leah Purcell.

A mesmerising storyteller and proud Goa-Gunggari-Wakka Wakka Murri woman, Leah takes us on a journey from her childhood as the youngest of seven children, to why the death of her much-loved mother set her free, her fierce love for netball, and how yelling a promise into the Snowy Mountains birthed her play, book, and upcoming feature film, The Drover’s Wife: The Legend of Molly Johnson.

Leah wrote a list of dreams and aspirations at 15, 21, and again at 40.

Now 50, has she ticked them all off?

And what happens when you believe you can be who you want to be?

    We find out in FORTY.

If you’ve ever thought you’re too old to start something, than this is the episode for you.

So, what happens when you decide to chase your dreams well past the conventional dream-chasing age? We find out in FORTY.

    Johanna Griggs

    Johanna Griggs

Our guest on this week’s episode of FORTY is much-loved Aussie television presenter and former competitive swimmer, Johanna Griggs. Joh knows how to spin a good yarn; from her laugh-out-loud tales of how she and husband Todd fell in love, to learning the art of TV hosting through public humiliation. We dive into Joh’s honest tales of being a single mum in her twenties and a grandmother in her early forties, playing hardball in career negotiations, and how a 20kg bucket of laundry powder is her love language.

What happens when you’re resolute in what you want for yourself, and what you expect from others? We find out in FORTY.

    Yumi Stynes

    Yumi Stynes

Yumi Stynes is the star of our latest FORTY conversation. Her uncomplicated and unapologetic approach is what we need to hear, and we expected nothing less from the media powerhouse known for speaking and writing her thoughts on radio, TV, podcasts, and in books.

Yumi is assertive and resolute in recognising the rhythm of her life in her forties. She openly discusses her experience of quitting alcohol, having ‘two batches of kids’ across 16 years, staying friends with an ex, and owning her NO decisions (including Christmas insanity!).

So, what happens when you know your limitations and set your boundaries?

    We find out in FORTY.

Thank you!

Thank you ladies for bringing this podcast to our ears! I have absolutely LOVED every single guest you’ve have chatted to thus far! Not to mention the hilarious banter from you two as well! As a 35 year old woman, I feel so excited, inspired and comforted to hear all of the joy that (hopefully) awaits me in my 40’s! I never knew what to expect and was admittedly very nervous about getting older, but listening to these episodes has me pumped for what the future may hold! Thank you and keep doing what you’re doing!! X
