A Unique and Wonderful Roleplaying Experience

CounterWeight was an absolute game changer for how I viewed and played RPGs.
If nothing else give that series your time.

Stellar (sometimes literally)

I only recently got interested but having marathoned my way through roughly 170 episodes so far I can not recommend this enough.

Some minor audio troubles which they openly address in the earliest of episodes and yes they do take a bit to really hit the stride but once they do, it is fantastic

Austin breathes such life into the worlds you swear that every part of them is moving and altering no matter where the characters are or what they do. It really feels alive and evolving offscreen.

Brilliant characters from both the players and Austin’s NPCs, plenty of stupid jokes that we all love but also people struggling with their compassion versus their personal ideals, evil characters who are more than Snidely Whiplash or OrphanEater McBadMan.

Plot revelations that honestly made me take a moment or go “of course” as the 14 separate strings get tied together.

A good mix of sci-fi and fantasy, roughly a dozen different board games mixed and matched for you to investigate and also spice up the episodes.

Just thank you to everyone who was a part in making this and once again, put it on the list of podcasts to definitely check out when you have the time
