Gardening Talkback is co hosted by Greg Richard, Mark Rorke, or Amanda Macreid and the gardening experts are Judy Sharp, but if Judy is unavailable her son, Scott Sharpe will fill in for her. They used to own a gardening business but they have since sold it. Judy is my favourite out of Scott and Judy because not only is Judy an expert, she has a warm gentle manner and is a very nice lady. The way she talks to people on the phone when gardening talkback is on is super polite, friendly, and cheery. She always seems to be in a good mood when she’s on the air and you can just tell by listening to her that she’s always ready to take lots of calls and to help lots of people even if it’s complicated. She is a wealth of knowledge and you couldn’t ask for a better host. It is a must listen show especially when Judy Sharpe is on. All the co hosts that I have mentioned above, Amanda, Greg, and Mark all are great co hosts for the show as well. They are professional, they have good voices for Radio, and they very rarely make mistakes. Whether you’re a keen gardener or not, or just want some simple advice on how to grow something even if it’s small, no matter whether you’re a good gardening or not, it is a great show to keep your company and to put a smile on your face. It will lift your mood particularly Judy, and is an all-round must lesson show.
It is on every Monday from 12:10pm - 1pm but is not on public holidays and they take a little over a month off over Christmas. On the bright side though, you can listen any time on the 2nurfm website 2nurfm.com.au, on the app Apple Podcasts, and on Spotify. You can’t catch up on there shows on the myTuner Radio app however, you can listen to 2nur live on there website anytime. 2nurfm also has their very own app. The app is literally just called 2nurfm and you can also listen to their Podcasts on there. They do play some songs in between, and some ads but all of the ads that 2nurfm play are very short because they are a community radio station and community radio stations don’t play very many ads. The ads are no longer than 1/2 1/2 minutes.
