Prime Time with Bec Wilson

I have been raving about these podcasts to my friends and telling them they have to listen! Often it’s very complex information and I do have to listen to them more than once, but always worth it. Should be mandatory for everyone nearing or in retirement.

This podcast has great content, however the editing is not to the same standard. Often the listener hears, as part of podcast, the unedited retakes and suggestions from the producer. I am amazed the production team don’t listen to the production version and remove these elements.

Great podcast Bec! I wasn’t sure about the Scammer episode. I hope people are more savvy now days. That old men still fall for the young (fake) women. Gave me the ick!

Great topics and content most of the time. There's no doubt that Bec is passionate about helping and informing people about retirement — which is appreciated. However, this enthusiasm can sometimes dominate the interviews, making it harder to focus on the guest's insights. One issue that consistently affects the listening experience is the frequent, often unprompted laughter. It tends to interrupt the flow and doesn't usually relate to anything humorous or relevant, which can be distracting. Improving interview techniques, especially around listening and pacing, could really elevate the quality of the conversations.
