LET’S TALK ABOUT EX, BABY! AH CRAPPY RELATIONSHIPS, THE BANE OF OUR COLLECTIVE EXISTENCE. BUT WHAT DO WE LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES? Former relationship columnist Elizabeth Best and current all-round funny guy Tom Harris chat to guests about the couple fail stories we all like to recount over drinks (because let’s face it, sometimes we need booze to cope). Ghosts of Boyfriends past will take you on a journey through the funny, tragic, horrifying and sometimes just plain bonkers stories about that crazy little thing called love, and try to wind up wiser for it. It’s like a group therapy session... with two people completely unqualified to be leading it.

Rachelle and the Wrong Life
Rachelle met her perfect man and everything was so easy. Until a split second comment changed everything.
Rachelle was interviewed by Liz for this episode, and her story was written up to be read out on air. Zane C Weber joins Liz and Tom on air to talk through a very tricky situation that’s still unfolding as we speak.

Old Fan
Great show full of humour and intelligent , the quickies are particularly good. All three of the podcasters on this are interesting humans with both humour and wisdom in their commentary and interviews.
Easy to get addicted - but have questions
Been bingeing this one for weeks! It’s at its heart such a simple concept which makes it so entertaining to listen to. Tom and Liz balance each other out really well (like the two drama masks haha), and Liz is a champ for sharing so much. All that said… there are some things I have questions about: - therapy speak (words like empath, narcissist, trauma, etc) are thrown around in a way that may not be super helpful or accurate. Look at Jonah Hill’s weird texts to his gf for an example on how this can be a problem! - agree with others that Liz tends to interrupt, but I get it - I do that too - why are you calling us readers? If it’s a joke, I don’t get it hahah - Tom needs to think through his thought before he starts talking. He tends to stop, start, hesitate through his comment and it’s really hard to follow. - honestly wish Zane was on every episode, or even a co host. He is so articulate and insightful
Tough Gig
Just listen to Liz and thought she was a star to share so much.
