Cannot recommend highly enough

Exceptional writing and performances. One of the best audiobook style podcasts I’ve had the pleasure of listening to.

I’ll definitely watch the TV series next, though I can’t pretend I’m not a little disappointed that the voice cast didn’t reprise their roles. David Schwimmer in particular. He was incredible as Colin Belfast.

If you like stories on coverups , corruption & conspiracies, if you withhold your trust from pharmaceutical companies & the government, then this show is for you.

Homecoming is an experimental project for recently returned soldiers afflicted by combat fatigue & trauma. It’s overt aim is to assist service personnel with recovery via medical treatment, psychological therapy and support as they transition back into civilian life. Yet things are not what they seem. Eventually situations arise that trigger suspicion & discomfort with the inpatients & the therapist case worker.

This narrative provides insight into the minds of those who serve their countries & the consequences of this career path. The sacrifices made may not be appreciated.

The character & story development is of an exceptional calibre. Wonderful elite performers Catherine Keener, David Schwimmer, Oscar Isaac & Amy Sedaris are outstanding. David Schwimmer certainly leaves his iconic affable Ross character back in the 90’s. His portrayal of the manager Colin Belfast immediately generates a sense of retaliatory anger. Belfast & Temple are the dictatorial conniving horrible boss archetype to which we can all relate. Can there be a worse boss ?

Seasons One & Two are both great.
