    Crime Weekly Review - 6th September 2026

🎙️ NEW KILLER KONTENT EPISODE This week on Killer Kontent, we’re covering three very different cases making headlines around the world. 🇲🇹 We head to Malta and the extraordinary case of investigative journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia, who was assassinated by a car bomb in 2017. Businessman Yorgen Fenech, accused of complicity in her murder, has now been acquitted after a two-month trial — a verdict that has caused outrage in Malta and could now be appealed. 🇦🇺 Back in Australia, we revisit one of South Australia’s darkest and most disturbing cold cases — “The Family” murders. Five young males were murdered during the late 1970s and early 1980s, and now relatives of the victims are fighting to have long-suppressed information about suspects made public. 🇺🇸 And there’s been a major development in the Charlie Kirk murder case. A Utah judge has ruled that Tyler Robinson will stand trial for aggravated murder, with prosecutors permitted to pursue the death penalty. Robinson has pleaded not guilty. 🍿 Then it’s time for Crime Pop Culture. 📺 On Netflix, we discuss Death of the Pastor’s Wife, the three-part documentary examining the life and death of Mica Miller and the disturbing allegations surrounding her marriage to pastor John-Paul Miller. 🇩🇰 On SBS On Demand, we review the Danish crime drama Nora Sand: The Pushover, where a journalist and police inspector find themselves following separate trails into the same murder investigation. 🎧 And finally, we’re listening to Love Trapped, the addictive investigative podcast about former Bachelor Clayton Echard. Once described as one of the franchise’s most unpopular Bachelors, Clayton found himself at the centre of a bizarre paternity scandal that became a sprawling story of alleged lies, manipulation and fraud — and this one has just had a major real-life development. 🎙️ Killer Kontent — true crime, court cases and the crime shows, documentaries and podcasts worth your time.

    Crime Review Weekly - 30 August 2026

This week on Killer Kontent, we delve into three very different cases making headlines in Australia and overseas. We look at the heartbreaking Jessica Zrinski inquest, which examined what happened to the 30-year-old Sydney woman who disappeared in November 2022 and has never been found.  We also examine the extraordinary case of Nirmeen Noufl, who was originally due to stand trial for the murder of her husband, Mamdouh Noufl, whose body has never been recovered.  Then we head to Ireland for the story of alleged organised crime boss Daniel Kinahan — his rise to become one of Ireland's most notorious underworld figures, the international efforts to bring him to justice. In Crime Pop Culture, we listen to The Poisoned Wife, the new podcast investigation from The Australian's Hedley Thomas and Karina Berger. The series investigates the unsolved 1986 death of pregnant Victorian mother Rosslyn McQueen, who was poisoned with strychnine in her own home. We also review the British true-crime documentary series The Suitcase Murders, which examines a series of disturbing cases where killers attempted to conceal their victims' bodies in luggage. And finally, we're talking about one of Australia's best crime dramas, Mr Inbetween, starring Scott Ryan as Ray Shoesmith — a hitman trying to balance his violent profession with being a father, partner, brother and friend. Both The Suitcase Murders and Mr Inbetween are available to stream on BINGE in Australia. It's another packed episode of Killer Kontent — the biggest crime stories and court cases, plus the crime documentaries, dramas and podcasts worth adding to your list.
