The Queen’s funeral is tonight but the coverage, of course, has already started. Lots of attention has been turned to whether this event is healing rifts in the royal family. But do rituals of grief, like funerals, bring families together, or exacerbate existing rifts?

We’ve talked about quiet quitting on this podcast before in the context of work… but is it possible to quietly quit a relationship?

And there are no white men on the front bench of Liz Truss's cabinet, but not everyone is happy about it.

K8WA ,

Friends in your ears 3-5/week

I started my MMOL listening during lockdown. Now, having the 5 eps as an M+ is my daily dose of round table, and it feels like listening to ‘friends’ chat. I see the reviews that say the content could be more politically balanced, but the thing about politics - it’s personal! The part where Mia sounds like she’s using her platform for whatever she likes? I disagree but if she is, it’s because she can!

Holly, Jessie and Mia are respectfully able to disagree. The regular guest hosts are exceptional too - Em Gillespie, Susan Carland, Claire Murphy to name a few.

This is a team of multi talented women sharing their clever and humorous life experience, their views on current affairs, pop culture and trivial topics alike. They’re not taking themselves too seriously, neither should listeners depending on the content. Love this pod!

This is the best show ever

I never miss it. The range of topics that these women cover, the humour and empathy and insight they bring to them, well it just makes my day. Great work Mamma Mia, thank heavens for out loud.

Out of touch

The tag line is “what people are talking about” really?? Who? The people in the Mamamia office? This podcast used to be on my weekly listening schedule but it is so biased and out of touch. The clear lack of understanding of the subject matters is astounding.
I guess what you get when you listen to unbalanced opinion.
