    Honey, Jennifer Aniston Just Won

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston read sexy lines to each other over the weekend and Holly lost her freakin’ mind. The former couple were doing a charity table read for Fast Times At Ridgemont High, and much like those photos earlier this year, they broke the internet. But Holly has a question, why are we never over them? WHY?

Plus, you’ve seen the tributes to American Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg who died on Friday, aged 87.  What does it mean and what happens now?

And, we told you we were going to watch The Social Dilemma and discuss it this week. Here's why, when it comes to social media, we should all be a little terrified...

    THE END BITS

We want everyone to watch The Social Dilemma on Netflix.

Also, My Octopus Teacher on Netflix.

    The Year Of Loneliness

    The Year Of Loneliness

On Monday night, ABC’s Q&A was all about loneliness. And it got us thinking... why, in a world where we’ve never been more connected, do so many of us feel so alone?

Plus, Zac Efron allegedly has a new girlfriend who he met in Byron Bay. But Holly is calling it and saying it’s not going to work. So can celebrities ever successfully date us normal people?

And, are people in their twenties trapped by COVID-19?

    Get Off Our Television

    Get Off Our Television

There’s a show starting on Sunday night that sounds exactly like the kind of car-crash reality TV we need right now. It’s called The All New Monty’s Guys & Gals. But, why is a man with a track record of alleged violence against women celebrated as a star on it?

Plus, a gender reveal party has sparked a bushfire in California,
and the person who ‘invented’ them says she has big regrets. So, are they a bit of fun or problematic?

And, our best and worst of the week...

The Kardashians Won The Game We're All Playing

The Kardashians Won The Game We're All Playing

In Case You Missed It, after the 20th season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians airs early next year, the show will be over for good. Sharing the news to social media on Wednesday, Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, Kris and Kendall announced that they made the tough decision to say goodbye to the show that put them on the map. Holly has a theory that the Kardashians is the most influential TV show of the modern age. But Mia doesn’t really agree…

Plus, why parents all over Australia (and probably the world) are taking phones off their kids this week.

And, feeling tired? Maybe a bit exhausted about the world? 2020 burnout is a real thing and Jessie is here to tell us about it...

    THE END BITS

Denise McMaster ,

“Nanna”

Hi
I’m a 61 year old Grandmother living in Lockdown Melbourne and never miss a
Podcast and like many Melbournians it’s been a bit of a lifesaver! It’s so wonderful to hear your opinions on all the diverse and relevant topics you discuss I find your banter very very pleasing as an older woman because women like yourselves are changing women and men’s stereotypes for the better and I applaud you all..but please I cringe when I hear you use the phrase “ I sound like a nanna” or “someone looked like a nanna “
I feel it’s frankly a bit of a put down
Could you try and find a better description for what you are trying to say
Thanks for the podcast
Denise

Conversations that build

I love the mix of opinions and analysis, the perspective that makes you question, stretch, affirm or change your own view.. it’s serious, thoughtful, funny..I love not knowing who may lead and the interchange between you all - you are great communicators, excellent language.. and the exchange of ideas and the way you have no fear or favour to challenge is brilliant.
Here though Jessie - you are seriously funny
Loved this
