Are you "looking for a man in finance, trust fund, 6'5", blue eyes"? These are the lyrics of what has accidentally become the hottest songs of the American summer. But many dating influencers are also echoing the same sentiment. So is the viral song onto something? We unpack.

Plus, a movie that’s way more than just a movie, a TV show with lots of sex that isn’t Bridgerton and a banger of a song, it's our weekly recommendations.

And, we wrap up the week with our best and worst which includes, Holly sharing her time as a Boomer, why Mia’s counting down to Sunday and that time Em bumped into three exes in one night (yep...this is not a drill).

Having a baby actually changes you forever. It's called matrescence, and in today's episode Holly, Mia and guest host Gemma Bath, reveal the ways becoming a mother has shaped who they are today.

You're cordially invited to the most mysterious royal jam launch in history. Is Meghan Markle just disorganised or a marketing genius? An investigation.

Plus, alphas, f-boys and even rodents are out (that didn't last long). Apparently the most attractive energy a heterosexual man can project is DADDY ENERGY. We have thoughts.

And, is there someone in your life who loves to monologue at you? If so, there’s a way to shut them up and Em Vernem knows what it is.

Should you marry your best friend? Can your spouse really be your bestie?

In today's episode, Holly, Mia, and Em Vernem are unpacking relationship and friendship dynamics.

Princess Kate is back at work, attending the Trooping of the Colour for the King's birthday. In photos she looked pristine and happy, which has lead some to comment that it's not what we expect someone who is receiving cancer treatment to look like. So, now that Kate Watch is back, how do we feel?

Also, have you heard? It’s never been tougher to be a 30-something in Australia. Millennials are struggling with cozzie livs and turning to Boomers and Gen Xers for help. We discuss.

And, the six-minute-long Bridgerton sex scene everyone's talking about. Why is it such a big deal to see a curvy actress being intimate on screen?

Keep it in your mailbox if I get to your car seat in a little or a half an extra day and you could take it out and then I have the keys for your house so you can pick me

Sir rich guinea pig ,

Identify crisis

This pod lost its way when it covered the Voice and began caring about American politics. The coverage was completely one-sided and pushed the hosts’ agendas. There was no impartiality or balanced reporting. This also positioned the show as a ‘serious news’ podcast. Now it appears that the show has done a complete 180 and listeners are hearing about socks (3 eps!), rodent men, leaking periods, pebbling, side friends, snow globes and some random nude wedding?! It feels fluffy, indulgent and completely irrelevant. Which is fine, if that’s what the pod is about. But listeners expect more. I can completely understand why the hosts are choosing not to cover all the horrors of the world. I also feel that the hate towards Mia is disgusting!! It’s unfair, cruel and abusive. People should be ashamed. Hopefully the new CEO can help rebuild the show and find its identity. Thank you ladies, I’m still tuning in and appreciate the content. P.S sorry about my random user name! Courtesy of my 8yo. No idea how to change it.

Go listen to Big Small Talk Instead

When a podcast calls constructive criticism ‘trolling’ and deletes any comments on the FB group that don’t agree with them, refuses to discuss the No 1 issue women are talking about - the genocide in Gaza and treats most pods like a family WhatsApp group, it’s time to unfollow. If you want an intelligent, nuanced, well researched and entertaining podcast, go and give Big Small Talk a listen. They manage to discuss all issues - heavy and fluffy.
