Good story telling I hope they do some more stories

Miss Hijinx ,

Mystery Drama

Past events have become folklore or ghost stories .

The recent loss of her Mother brought Journalist, Esther Snow back to her Appalachian home town to attend to estate matters. Esther is reminded of a past mystery and launches an investigation project that manifested from grief & nostalgia.

The story begins setting the scene by including some great recaps of the state of society at the dawn of the new millennium - Y2K , the residue of the 1980’s satanic panic & Generation Y bearing the weight of fixing the planet.

Esther interviews those who knew Lisa Banks & Violet Hill, taking them back into the past, albeit reluctantly to piece together clues. She hopes this will lead to answers. Sometimes we are given answers, but that doesn’t mean they will satisfy or be believed. We are not always able to appreciate or accept the truth. Especially when that truth does not match our belief system. Sometimes things are meant to remain a mystery.

Episode six reveals in detail the supernatural elements of the story that some suspect were at play. Though difficult to believe for the supernatural skeptics these aspects are the more logical & plausible explanations to the peculiar mystery.

Just because you don’t believe in something doesn’t mean it’s not real.

Episode Seven the finale was the best wrap up episode I have ever heard.

The beautiful language & tone used left me mesmerised & spell bound . If you have enjoyed other mystery audio dramas such as :

Blackwood

Wormwood

Dead letters Podcast

Or non fiction mysteries like

Room 20

I believe you will love this show.

This team have produced a work of excellence. A high calibre production with a fascinating storyline, splashed with the supernatural. Performed by talented actors.

Well worth the investment.
