Great podcast - not just the topic but the delivery. Produced extremely well and has you on the edge of your seat wanting to listen to the next episode immediately after
Amazing podcast
What a story.
I am so amazed and admiring of all the effort and incredible reporting and dedication to deliver this.
Thoroughly riveting
As a former oncology nurse I was deeply intrigued by this podcast. In Australia we have had a few women pull a similar stunt on a much smaller scale. It didn't take much, or long to expose them, but for Amanda to have years of lies, social media, the involvement of churches & fundraising organisations truly is baffling. I became really invested in this story as I've seen many cancer sufferers along with their families struggle in this journey who really are inspiring. There were a ton of contradictions right from the start with the medical part of her story, (nobody has that many remissions esp from stage 4 lymphoma including lung mets) . I wondered how she had no friends in the medical field question these 'miracle' recoveries ? And yet she got away with it for so long, as did her complicit husband. No conscience either which is shocking in a church setting. So sorry for her step daughter, & ex Alita who really would have been the "better parent" all along. Both her & her daughters I wish well
