Professor Gigi Foster, UNSW "Did Covid Lockdowns go too far? Part 2"

Professor Gigi Foster, UNSW "Did Covid Lockdowns go too far? Part 2"

We take a trip down memory lane to review the 4th show ever and the (at the time) highly controversial Dr Foster who in 2020 said we were going too far on lockdowns. The dust has settled on the pandemic now so we can look back and review who said what and what we can take away from the mistakes made going forward. We run through the salient points of her new book "Do lockdowns and border closures serve the “greater good”? A cost-benefit analysis of Australia’s reaction to COVID-19" and see if there's any hope for human dialogue

Ebenezer Goode ,

Please encourage Ken to ask concise questions

Interesting listening, I really like the show. I encourage Ken to learn interviewing skills that balance making his point and asking genuine questions without leading the interviewee. The interviewees can get confused by what he is trying to achieve.

A great blend of insights and humour

Thanks for a great podcast!

Great show - Mic Improvement Needed

Great show but am writing this review to provide feedback specifically.

One of the interviewers has a poor quality microphone. This means that whenever the interviewer speaks the audio quality drops significantly and becomes scratchy.

MicVolume is also not set at right level compared to other speakers - which means that whenever he swears my earphones hurt my ears.

Uncomfortable.

Spend a few dollars and calibrate the audio.
