  1. How Much Should You Share Online? (Authenticity vs Oversharing)

How Much Should You Share Online? (Authenticity vs Oversharing)

One of the biggest questions I get when it comes to showing up online is this: “How do I know if I’m being authentic… or if I’m oversharing?” Where is the line between vulnerability and trauma dumping? In this episode, I’m breaking down the balance between being raw and real while still protecting yourself and your credibility. Because here’s the truth: Authenticity builds connection. But not everything belongs on the internet. I share how I built my brand by documenting my process of becoming — from recording podcast episodes in my car while broke and exhausted with two kids, to building a global personal brand and loyal audience. You’ll learn how to share your story in a way that creates connection, trust, and authority without feeling like you're exposing every part of your life. This episode is for you if you're: • Scared of what people will think online • Worried you're sharing too much • Holding yourself back from being seen • Trying to build a personal brand or business • Learning how to tell your story with power Inside this episode we talk about: • The difference between sharing from a scar vs sharing from a wound • How to know if you're oversharing or actually not sharing enough • The storytelling method I call zooming in vs zooming out • Why perfection erodes connection • How vulnerability builds loyalty and community • The question you must ask before sharing anything online At the end of the day, your story is yours. And when you learn how to share it intentionally, it becomes one of the most powerful tools you have to connect, lead, and serve others. In This Episode • Authenticity vs oversharing • Building a personal brand online • Vulnerability and storytelling • Trauma dumping vs healed sharing • Personal branding and content creation • Confidence and showing up online Chapters 00:00:00 The Authenticity Strategy That Built My Brand 00:00:29 Welcome to the Confidence Chronicles 00:01:25 The Number One Question About Showing Up Online 00:03:13 When Fear Holds You Back From Being Seen 00:04:19 My Broke, Breastfeeding, Car Podcast Origin Story 00:06:51 When You Have Nothing Else But Your Story 00:07:57 The Loyal Cult-Like Following I Built Through Sharing 00:12:23 Document Your Process of Becoming 00:14:20 Getting Metaphorically Naked on the Internet 00:17:01 The Zoom Out Strategy for Professional Boundaries 00:22:08 The Scar vs The Wound: When to Share Your Story 00:25:49 Intent Is Everything When Sharing Vulnerability 00:30:11 Know Your Audience and What They Need to Hear 00:33:12 The More You Zoom In, The More They Come Closer 00:34:04 Being Imperfect Is Part of My Brand 00:34:42 Thank You for Letting Me Into Your World Connect With Erika 👑 The Queen’s Table High-level mentorship for women ready to build authority, visibility and legacy. https://thequeenofconfidence.com/the-queens-table/ 👑 The Next Level For women ready to grow their confidence, audience and income. https://thequeenofconfidence.com/the-next-level/ 📖 Becoming The One (Book) https://www.amazon.com/ 📱 Instagram https://www.instagram.com/thequeenofconfidence/ ⭐ If this episode resonated with you, share it with someone who needs to hear it.

🇵🇷My Bad Bunny Concert in Australia Reaction 🔥

I never thought I would see this moment happen in Australia. As a Puerto Rican woman who has lived here for 16 years, watching Bad Bunny perform in Sydney to a packed stadium was emotional in ways I can’t fully explain. Thousands of people singing in Spanish. Puerto Rican flags everywhere. Latinos from all over the world connecting in a country where Spanish speakers are such a small percentage of the population. It was powerful. It was joyful. It was deeply personal. But this episode isn’t just about the concert. It’s about identity, authenticity, personal branding, and the power of showing up unapologetically as yourself. Bad Bunny isn’t just one of the biggest artists in the world. He’s built a global movement by being radically authentic — and there are massive lessons in that for anyone building a business, a brand, or a life where you refuse to play small. In this episode, I share the full story of the weekend, the Puerto Rican community we found here in Australia, and the powerful business and life lessons behind the experience. Because when you truly own who you are… Everything changes. In This Episode • What it felt like seeing Bad Bunny perform in Australia • Why the moment meant so much as a Puerto Rican living abroad • The unexpected community that formed around the concert • The power of authenticity in building a global brand • What entrepreneurs can learn from Bad Bunny’s personal brand • Why being unapologetically yourself attracts the right people • The difference between followers and real community • How cultural pride and identity shape the work we do Key Takeaway You don’t build a powerful brand by blending in. You build it by owning exactly who you are. Bad Bunny didn’t become the biggest artist in the world by trying to fit in. He did it by turning himself all the way up. And that’s the lesson. Why Creating Content Feels So Hard (And What To Do About It)

Why does creating content feel so damn hard? If you’re stuck overthinking what to post, watching everyone else grow, editing captions 17 times, or feeling like you “have” to be everywhere online… this episode is for you. In this raw conversation, I break down: Why content feels forced (and how to fix it) The real reason you don’t know what to post Why copying trends kills your authority How your calendar should drive your content The fastest way to build trust online Why engagement matters more than followers Content isn’t about performing. It’s not about pleasing everyone. It’s not about chasing algorithms. It’s about clarity. Authority. Connection. And when your content aligns with your offers, your story, and the real problems your audience has — it stops feeling hard. It starts working. If you’ve been stuck in the doom scroll, second-guessing yourself, or wondering why your content isn’t converting… this will reset you. 👉🏽 My Abuser Emailed Me. Here’s How I Handled It (When Trauma Resurfaces)

This one is personal. In this episode, I share something that happened in real time… I received an email from someone connected to my childhood abuse. And it brought up things I thought I had already processed. I talk about what it actually feels like when old trauma resurfaces. What happens in your body. What happens in your mind. How healing isn’t linear. And why forgiveness is not something you owe anyone. This isn’t a polished “look how healed I am” conversation. It’s real. It’s layered. It’s complicated. Inside this episode I share: What it feels like when the past reappears unexpectedly How I handled the email without betraying myself Why boundaries matter more than being “nice” The truth about forgiveness Why healing doesn’t mean you won’t get triggered again How storytelling has been part of my healing You don’t owe anyone closure. You don’t need to be strong all the time. And you don’t have to perform healing for the world. If this resonates, comment below and let me know. And if it helps you, share it with someone who might need it. The Authenticity Lie: Why Most Personal Brands Are Still Fake

Authenticity is trending. Everyone is talking about it. Everyone is selling it. Everyone is suddenly “real.” And yet… most personal brands still feel fake. In this powerful, no-filter conversation with Jill Stanton, we unpack the uncomfortable truth about authenticity in business today. If you’re using authenticity as a strategy, you’ve already missed it. In this episode, we break down: • Why “authenticity” as a marketing tactic is backwards • The difference between being authentic and performing authenticity • How people-pleasing is emotional manipulation • Why many entrepreneurs are still hiding behind polished personas • The identity work required to truly stand in your power • Fear of success, shadow work, and why it’s rarely about success • Why sovereignty is more magnetic than strategy • How to stop outsourcing your voice and direction • The performative era online, and why it’s collapsing This is not about oversharing your trauma. It’s not about telling the internet your secrets. It’s not about being controversial for attention. It’s about freedom. Real freedom. The kind that happens when you stop managing how people perceive you and start leading yourself from alignment. If you’ve felt exhausted by the noise online… If you’ve questioned who to trust… If you’ve wondered whether you’re blending in without realizing it… This conversation will challenge you in the best way. Authenticity is not a trend. It’s an identity shift. And identity work is the real game. Caring what people think doesn’t make you professional. It makes you forgettable. In this episode, I’m breaking down why people-pleasing is the fastest way to kill your authority, your confidence, and your personal brand, and what actually happens when you stop editing yourself for approval. This is a real conversation about visibility, courage, leadership, and the cost of staying small. If you’ve ever thought: • “What if they judge me?” • “What if I say the wrong thing?” • “What if I’m too much?” You’re going to want to hear this. 🔥 IN THIS EPISODE, WE COVER: • Why caring what people think keeps you invisible • How people-pleasing shows up in your content and messaging • The difference between being liked and being trusted • Why neutrality does NOT equal authority • What actually happens when you stop playing it safe • How your personal brand grows when you stop shrinking • The mindset shift that changes how you show up online and in rooms 🎯 THE REALITY CHECK If no one disagrees with you, no one deeply trusts you either. Puerto Ricans Down Under: Identity, Diaspora & Finding Home Away From Home

In this episode, I sit down with my friend Yadi, an anthropologist and fellow Puerto Rican living in Australia, to talk about what it really means to live far from your motherland and still keep your culture alive. There are less than 1% Latinos in Australia. There are even fewer Puerto Ricans. No restaurants. No food. No community hubs. No shared language in the streets. And yet… here we are. This conversation was inspired by Bad Bunny bringing his global tour to Australia, selling out two massive shows, and reminding us how deeply culture lives in the body, especially when you’re far from home. We talk about diaspora, displacement, identity, grief for the motherland, and the responsibility of keeping culture alive for our children when it’s not reinforced by the environment around us. This episode is for anyone who has ever: • Left their home country • Missed their people, food, music, or language • Felt invisible in a dominant culture • Had to become the culture carrier • Built family and community from scratch ✨ IN THIS EPISODE, WE COVER: • What it’s like being Puerto Rican in a country that doesn’t know Puerto Rico • The grief and beauty of living in diaspora • Relearning what our grandmothers knew instinctively • Raising children with cultural pride far away from home • Why music, food, and language matter more than we think • Finding each other when “your people” barely exist • Celebrating Puerto Rican identity in a non-latin country 💛 FOR THE IMMIGRANTS, THE DISPLACED, AND THE DIASPORA If you’ve ever felt homesick for a place that shaped you, If you’ve ever had to explain who you are, again and again, If you’ve ever worried about your kids losing their roots… This episode is for you.
