What's in our wastewater? (Drugs)
Australians are using more cocaine, methamphetamine, and MDMA than last year. How do we know this? It’s according to new sewage analysis by the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission, who have been testing Aussie wastewater since 2016. Today on the podcast, we speak to Shane Neilson, CIC's Acting National Manager of Data Analytics, about what else this data tells us about Australians' drug consumption.

Great podcast
Very useful
Bias Rubbish.
Young people in Australia deserve to be objectively informed about what’s going on in the world, particularly when Israel, our ally, is on trial for plausible genocide and has slaughtered 30,000+ Palestinian civilians. Your choice of wording when briefly brushing over this horrific stain on our collective humanity is unforgivable and I will no longer be able to support your clear Zionist ideologies. Truth and justice will prevail and history won’t look fondly on those who pushed propaganda or even refused to speak the truth.
Easy and informative listening!
I have been listening to The Daily Aus for 2-3 months now, and finding it really educational and digestible. Keeping up to date with what’s going on in the world and and Australia in a quick and easy to listen to format is really a game changer when everyone is so time poor these days. Well done!
