Love erosion, codependency

Hi Paul
Thank you so much for your honest and insightful podcast, you have helped save my life. I entered into a toxic relationship after 20 yrs as a single, celibate mum. Before that relationship I had little experience with men. I moved out 3 months ago and am still dealing with him clinging me. I have tried no contact but he’s tenacious. I am moving interstate and my good job in order to get away from him. The lessons I’ve learnt are:

1. Listen to your intuition (I saw all the red flags but allowed my ego to rule, even though my gut instinct told me we were wrong for each other). Now, I know I was also being love bombed.

2. Know thyself. You have helped me to realise I’m a people pleaser. I am now learning more about myself and know this will help me in the future.

Once again, heartfelt thanks to you. I love your podcast and have recommended it to friends. Keep up your great work it is so appreciated xx
