Can’t get enough
If you’re looking for in depth, mature and thoughtful discussion about strategy games, this is the best place to look. Each podcast typically has two or three guests and the host, Rob Zacny, is a pleasure to listen to and is really good at leading the discussion into interesting areas. Each episode usually goes for an hour or so and will either discuss a new game or expansion for a game, or talk about a particular topic or sub genre of games. Seriously the only complaint about this podcast is that new episodes don’t come out fast enough. Keep up the good work!
I really enjoy this podcast. It’s focused on strategy games, which is awesome. And it is quite often funny. But it is the intelligent and mature analysis that draws me in more than any other games podcast. Rob Zacny is particularly good as host, as are his regular guests, Rowan Kaiser, TJ Hafer and Fraser Brown. Thoroughly recommended.
Got me back into strategy!
Got me back into the strategy of my childhoold. I'm only 19 (didn't fight in Vietnam though), so that means the golden age of RTS games that all played the same - Age of X, Warcraft, etc. They don't really recommend those but got me back into them regardless. RPS poked me their way. Good to hear about the history of gaming.
