Australian folk music troubadours, Tuck Shop Ladies get down to the nitty gritty with some of their favourite musicians, comedians and all round good humans. There are deeply exposing games, light refreshments, and the odd appearance from Ruby the dog. They even squeeze in a good ol' sing-a-long before they leave the tuck shop.
Truettes Season 2, Ep 16 - Sweetheart
Despite still being in lockdown in Melbourne, the girls manage to have a real live special guest. They talk about the absolute power of superglue, struggle to come up with 4 minutes of reasons for why they like folding chairs, come up with a fantastic new band name and bring you a short but sweet love song for their song of the week.
Truettes Season 2, Ep 15 - WWPS
In Episode 15 Rosie and Sam talk awkward partner nicknames, the merits of angry cleaning, doctors who are afraid of vaginas and so so much more. There's the ever-questionable relationship quiz and, of course, the highly anticipated song for the week with a dodgy genital reference in the chorus.
Truettes Season 2, Ep 14 - Umbrella
In excellent form this week, the girls try out some high class accents, talk juice cleanse and alcohol enemas, discuss the merits of handcuffs, and find out that they are killing it on the romance front in the relationship quiz. Oh, and there's a little song about an umbrella, just for good measure.
Truettes Season 2, Ep 13 - Password
This week Sam and Rosie have a couple of super special guests with the usual questionable accents, they online shopping, make up some excellent combined animals, take a stand against smiling while wearing masks and sing a song about how impossible it is to remember all the different passwords you have to the internet these days.
There's even a dodgy competition to enter!
Truettes Season 2, Ep 12 - Trackies
This week Rosie and Sam take an impromptu trip down memory lane in the name of the gusset, discuss breaking into golf courses and falling over when your old(er).
Sam interviews the inventor of the hand held hairdryer while Rosie struggles (slightly) with her Japanese accent. The ladies discover their spirit animals, with mixed feelings about the results, and crack out a song about just how good it feels to get into your tracksuit pants.
Truettes Season 2, Ep 11 - 9 out of 10
First up, a disclaimer: In Australia thongs are a type of footwear...
The Tuck Shop Ladies share a little lockdown lovin’ after diving back into covid lockdown. They wax lyrical with their ‘special guests’, share their thoughts on living the dream and Rosie tries to convince Sam that her nickname is taking off. They talk dog pockets and double patella’s and crank out a song about loving someone almost all of the way.

Hilarious! Fun! Talented!
This is the most amazing podcast I’ve ever heard! These girls take the best things about radio (awesome music and hilarious banter) to a new level. They are insanely talented and break into unplanned harmony at the drop of a hat, as well as having entertaining segments and telling it like it is. Can’t recommend highly enough!
These two sure can tango! (But bad accents warning!)
In Season 2 these two vital, funny and talented women riff off of life in the most entertaining way! A mix of pop culture ephemera and quirky spousal banter interlaced with original CoVid-19 lockdown life observations captured in song. And bad accents. Really, really bad accents. Don’t let them try and convince you otherwise!
Two Unstable Geniuses
These two are my favourite (unstable) geniuses .. two insanely talented (yet demented), funny creative souls who bravely jump with abandon into whatever improvisational rapids that face them .. and always bob up (sometimes gasping for breath) to create hilarity and fun.
