Stepping Into Visibility: The Power of Being Seen

What if you’re showing up, building the business, leading the room, and doing everything you’re supposed to do… but you’re still hiding? In this deeply personal episode of Called to Be Seen, Jordan Lynae explores a kind of hiding that doesn’t look like hiding at all. It can look like success. For years, Jordan believed being visible meant posting, speaking, building businesses, leading, and putting herself out there. But she eventually realized that being visible and being truly seen are two very different things. You can be successful and still hide behind the version of yourself that knows how to perform, produce, achieve, and take care of everyone else. Jordan shares what hiding looked like inside her own life and business, including a defining season during the pandemic when everything slowed down and she was forced to get quiet. As a mother navigating uncertainty while trying to keep a business going, she reached a point where she stopped pushing and surrendered. And in that quiet, something changed. She began reconnecting with herself outside of the doing, the expectations, and the identity she had built around success. In this episode, Jordan talks about surrender, identity, motherhood, visibility, trusting yourself again, and what happens when you stop asking, “How do I get more people to see me?” and start asking: “How much of me am I actually allowing to be seen?” Because being seen isn’t about becoming louder. It isn’t about proving that you belong. And it isn’t about performing a more polished version of yourself for the world. It’s about allowing more of the real you to come forward. If you’ve built something successful but know there’s another layer of you ready to emerge, this conversation is for you. You were never meant to be the best-kept secret in your own life. Beyond the Crown: When Your Story Becomes Your Purpose

Beyond the Crown: When Your Story Becomes Your Purpose | Sherri Gorbett What happens when the story you once struggled to understand becomes the very story that could help someone else? In this powerful episode of Called to Be Seen, Jordan Lynae sits down with Sherri Gorbett to talk about identity, body image, breast implant illness, purpose, pageantry, faith, and what can happen when you finally become willing to share the parts of your story you once kept hidden. After years of unexplained health struggles, Sherri began researching breast implant illness and ultimately made the decision to have her implants removed. Just two days after her explant surgery, the FDA announced a black box warning on breast implants. Her experience left her with a question: What am I supposed to do with what I’ve learned? She started small—sharing her story and information with women in her local community. Soon, women began reaching out. A plastic surgeon encouraged her to keep going. Sherri eventually joined the Breast Implant Safety Alliance, where she now serves as Board Treasurer and Patient Advocate. Then, at 48 years old, another unexpected opportunity appeared: pageantry. Sherri had zero pageant experience and no desire to walk across a stage in a swimsuit and heels. But a friend asked her a question that changed everything: “What if it isn’t about you? What if it’s about all the women who are going to hear your story?” Sherri said yes. She went on to compete on state and national stages, using the crown as a platform for a mission much bigger than herself. After one national competition, another woman approached her and told her that hearing Sherri’s story had saved her life. But this conversation goes far beyond the crown. Sherri opens up about growing up in foster care and carrying the painful label of being “just the foster child.” She shares how those early experiences shaped her sense of worth, why learning to own her story has been an ongoing journey, and what she now wants other women to understand about their bodies, their beauty, their voices, and their purpose. Whether you’re standing at the beginning of a new chapter, questioning whether you’re too late, or feeling called to finally share your own story, this conversation is a reminder: Don’t spend your life wondering “what if?” Sometimes the opportunity that scares you most isn’t only about you. Your story may be exactly what someone else needs to hear. Connect With Sherri Gorbett Breast Implant Safety Alliance Annual Gala:

The hidden cost of constant noise and what silence reveals Why it works

What if the answer you’ve been praying for is not more hustle, but more silence? Jordan Lynae shares the powerful case for stepping out of the noise, creating space, and finally hearing what matters most. Fresh off a vacation with no agenda, no laptop, and no notifications, Jordan reflects on how quickly life can become so full of doing that we stop truly listening. She unpacks why presence is not passive, why calm comes before clarity, and why the constant pull of phones, checklists, and outside opinions may be the very thing keeping you from your next step. You’ll discover: Why Jordan says “calm” in her CALLED framework means more than rest or relaxation How silence can reveal the boundaries, grief, dreams, and desires you’ve been avoiding The small habits that steal your attention before the day even begins Why documenting every moment can sometimes keep you from actually living it A simple invitation to create five to ten minutes of real stillness each day Jordan also shares how a family road trip, beach walks, and moments of quiet with her children reminded her that legacy is shaped not by constant motion, but by the ability to pause, notice, and listen. She connects that insight to her upcoming book and the deeper message behind her CALLED method, where calm becomes the foundation for alignment, leadership, and purpose. If you’ve been asking for direction, feeling disconnected, or wondering why your heart still feels unheard, this episode offers a grounded reset. It’s a reminder for anyone who feels pulled in too many directions: the life you’re longing for may begin in the quiet. Perfect for anyone craving peace, clarity, and a gentler way forward. Share it with a woman who needs the reminder that she was never called to become louder - only present enough to hear the voice that has been guiding her all along.
