154: An Opera About Bread and A Fake Monogrammed Private Jet for Dogs

Did you know that Charles Dickens is the new Bloody Mary? We're bringing you all kinds of fun facts from our 2019 live show at the Wilbur in Boston! We thought what better way to kick off our 2020 tour than by sharing the live recording of a show that was so near and dear to our hearts... and also happens to be full of food descriptions. Em covers the legendary Omni Parker Hotel, which is just chock full of ghosts and also delicious rolls. Then Christine covers a criminal so brash he masqueraded as everything from a Rockefeller to a European baronet (we're not sure what that is either) but his real name is Christian Gerhartsreiter. Don't miss the first real memory we made together in Boston as actual friends... and that's why we drink!

152: A Cute Bread and Breakfast and Emotional Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Dear future children, please bring us grilled cheese sandwiches... we'll need them for the stories we're telling today! Em takes us back to Kansas City to cover the hauntings of the Sauer Castle and Christine brings us the intense and tragic story of the disappearance of Susan Cox Powell. We'd also like to offer this warning from Em's childhood: be sure to hide the fireplace pokers when you're trying chocolate cake for the first time... and that's why we drink!

Literally Amazing ❤️

This is the first podcast I ever listened to and I can now say that I am fully addicted to podcasts! Since listening to ATWWD I have listened to many other podcast but none are as interesting, funny or spooky as ATWWD. I love seeing the friendship grow between to co-host’s and listening to them talk makes me feel like I am sitting around with friends when I am actually at my desk job lol

Amazing

I absolutely love you guys 😍 but as a Scorpio I do feel attacked frequently. We ain’t all that bad. At least I’m not lol

So good.

Great podcast. I'm almost caught up to date and I still love it. They are so funny and I love their banter and all the little inside jokes that have accumulated over time. They provide really cool stories of true crime and the supernatural and their reactions to each other's stories are hilarious.

Quality seems to be waning a little bit (still 5 star worthy though) in that the banter at the beginning of each episode keeps getting longer and longer which is a bit annoying. Also Christine's crime stories seem to be getting shorter and shorter which is very disappointing. Giving them the benefit of the doubt that they'll remedy these things as I think they're aware of them.
Overall it's a very fun and entertaining podcast that has helped me through many a rough day.
