    A Yukon Tragedy

    A Yukon Tragedy

Within weeks of finally reaching her goal of graduating high school, 19-year-old Angel Carlick went missing from the capital city of the Yukon territory in 2007. Police were convinced she was just a teenage runaway until 5 months later when her body was found at the base of a mountain by a hiker approximately 40 mins from Whitehorse. What happened to Angel? Did police drop the ball by not investigating her disappearance? This wouldn’t be the only tragedy for the Carlick family and the community of Whitehorse. A decade later, someone else in the family would be murdered. Two indigenous women from the same family have been murdered. Is there a connection? Why is Angels case still unsolved? Listen to find out more.

Great storytelling but background noise is too much

This is a great pod: it’s well researched, nice short episodes, and the host has a great voice.

My only comment is that the “spooky” sound effects are really distracting. A few well-placed effects help to set up big reveals/plot twists, but having them every 15 seconds really detracts from the story. Less is more!

Love it!

Love you’re podcast !, only suggestion.. get rid of the spooky background music and I wish your episodes were a bit longer! Just when you start to get in to it .. it’s over!
Very enjoyable tho! Can’t wait for more.
