Ctrl Alt Delete

Ctrl Alt Delete subverts the traditional career show. Instead, it's for people who are more interested in shaping their work rather than letting their work shape them. The main focus is work, wellbeing and creativity. Hosted by bestselling author Emma Gannon, she has a gentle line of questioning that starts with work, and ends up wherever the conversations lead. Named Best Business podcast by Vuelio, Webby award nominee and named 50 Best Podcasts by Sunday Times, Ctrl Alt Delete is a gateway into new ideas – with past guests varying far and wide including Elizabeth Gilbert, Reni Eddo-Lodge, Jacqueline Wilson, Lena Dunham, Julia Cameron, Priyanka Chopra-Jonas, Ava DuVernay, Gillian Anderson and Mrs Hinch. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

By far one of my favourite podcasts. The shows are meaningful and extremely helpful but in a gentle and intentional way. Have gotten a lot out of it as being newly self-employed. Emma is a fantastic host.
You need this in your life.

I've been feeling less powerful and determined and creative than I usually do. I think most of us know the feeling, and it's awful to hit a roadblock and to feel like you can't move past it. All the things that usually make me feel like an artist and a badass haven't really been doing that for me, and I needed to kickstart that part of myself again. I listened to Greta Gerwig's episode, because Lady Bird is a real obsession, and it felt so real and relevant that I kept clicking onto the next episode and the next and the next. Emma is fantastic, the guests are wonderful, and every time I sit down to listen to it, I feel like I'm getting a bit of myself and my power back. I couldn't ask for anything more than that.
Organic conversation with interesting people

The common thread is these conversations is how the internet and social media have shaped lives. While Gannon has obviously done her research and is prepared, her strength as an "interviewer" lies in being a good listener. The dialogue feels natural and organic.
