David Feldman Show

I’m not sure why this show appeals to me. I suppose it’s because I’ve been listening to Dave for about a decade, through several iterations of his show. It’s like a warm pair of sock in the winter. Smelly and dirty, but warm socks. I actually do derive some value from having Feldo read me the news, but I did prefer the show when he had guests and the show ran for 8-9 hours. Nothing crazy about that. This show has sparked my interest on topics ranging from sourdough bread to police accountability to well told street jokes.

I first learned of David several years ago while listening to a clip from "The Jimmy Dore" show on a "Best of the Left" Podcast. While I have long ago given up on JImmy Dore, David continues to educate, entertain and delight. I never miss a minute of his six hour podcasts. Wonderful regular guests, great long form interviews and wicked comedy. I proudly drink my coffee out of my Feldman University coffee mug and HANDWASH my Feldman University t-shirt (and suggest everyone else do the same) while my husband just shakes his head. Whatever!!!!. Thank you David for all you do.

This has become the main podcast I listen to: it’s length leaves little room for anything else really. Great guests, but David’s opinion fluctuates greatly, depending on who he talks to: he’ll agree (largely) with Helaine Olen who praises capitalism, and then with Jim Earl, who’s lack of nuance in regards to the dnc makes me want to puke, so he’s got the right name I suppose. F**** that guy. Keep up the great work David, you sad pathetic hump.

I could listen to even more excellent interviews, discussion and comedic dialogues. Don’t complain about the length, rather be grateful that David takes the time to give us so much wonderful material! I love his hilarious guest appearances on the Majority Report with Sam Seder and on the Michael Brooks Show. He’s an old lefty from way back!
