Interesting but....

This is one of more fave of Payne’s podcasts. I don’t like jake’s tone, too fan boy I have heard my fair share of dudes gushing about 70s Rock icons. The Dead were quite a phenom but bleh, I’m sure there are tonnes of other experts out there. It was easy to skip his parts with out distorting the story lol. Over all, interesting story with interesting glimpses into a recent yer distant history/culture. Yay Payne, meh jake.

Interesting story gets bogged down by narration

This may be more of a personal take, but I find the narration from both narrator is very distracting. They are very self-involved narration for lack of a better term, see more about trying to sound cool then actually entertain or engage the audience. The interesting contents became more unlistenable the more it was filtered to through these two voices
