Designer Eny Lee Parker on Making a Viral Lamp, Hiring a Happy Team, and Her Next Act

From her studio in Queens, New York, Parker and her team continue to churn out the chicest totemic ceramic lighting and furniture—but in true rebel fashion, she says she’s more focused on maintaining a happy staff and giving back to her community than just making art. Listen as she fills us in on why she’s not interested in being the best designer on the planet, her two dream celebrity clients, and how she DIYed her rental kitchen—but don’t tell her landlord.

Big Fan!

I love Design Time’s interviews — great questions and responses. It’s also a treat listening to a designer talk about the materials and colours they love, similar to listening to a podcast about artists and their materials. Thank you Design Time!

Ecstatic to have found Design Time!

I just discovered this podcast and I’m absolutely thrilled! It is inspiring, informative, and so enjoyable. As a beginning interior designer, this is the perfect podcast. I’ve always loved Domino magazine and I can tell that podcast this is going to be just as wonderful.

Good

Truly love the content and choice of guests on this show, but host doesn’t sound very natural and somewhat rehearsed, not the most enhancing to listen to.
