Empowerography

Brad Walsh

Welcome to Empowerography, the premier podcast platform dedicated to bringing powerful women to an empowered stage. Host, Brad Walsh, having spent his corporate career in the world of A/V technology, felt that there was a greater story waiting. Brad was introduced to the world of Boudoir Photography and he immediately fell in love with the empowering mission and message behind boudoir photography. Being immersed in this world and seeing the life-changing effects it had on women helped to reveal his true calling—creating space for women to see themselves in a light they normally don't get to see themselves in. Brad realized this work was his life's purpose, so he left my AV tech career to pursue boudoir photography full-time. Witnessing the incredible transformations in his clients confirmed he had found his purpose. Two years later, while working as a women's empowerment photographer, Brad had another epiphany: I need to broaden my impact by creating a podcast. When Covid-19 hit in March 2020 rendering Brads business in-operable, he saw an opportunity to be a voice of hope and positivity amidst global fear and negativity and Empowerography was born. Brad's podcast is a platform whose purpose is to Empower. Elevate and Educate by amplifying the voices of women. Empowerography's mission is to Empower, Elevate, and Educate, showcasing real-life stories of courage, transformation, and inspiration from extraordinary women around the world. Each episode dives deep into the personal and professional journeys of our guests, uncovering the trials they've overcome, the successes they've achieved, and the invaluable lessons they've learned along the way. Join us as we amplify the voices of women, providing a space where their stories can inspire, motivate, and empower listeners to pursue their own dreams and aspirations. Whether you're looking for inspiration, guidance, or simply a boost of empowerment, Empowerography is here to elevate your spirit and educate your mind. Tune in and let the transformative stories of these incredible women change your perspective and ignite your passion for making a difference.

Remembering Yourself After 50: Donna Cravotta’s Tried and New Methodology for Women Leaders

My guest today is Donna Cravotta. Donna Cravotta is a Chief Storyteller + Positioning Architect, Founder and CEO of Cravotta Media Group, and creator of The Real 50 Over 50: The Wisdom Revolution, featuring 175+ interviews with women over 50 redefining success in their Third Act. She works with accomplished entrepreneurial women—authors, speakers, and consultants—helping them gather their wisdom, clarify their positioning, and build intentional visibility that feels natural, not performative. Her proprietary methodology, Tried & New, is based on a simple premise: Don’t reinvent yourself. Remember who you already are. In this episode we discuss remembering vs reinvention, the real 50 over 50, storytelling, gender bias and ageism. Website - https://cravottamediagroup.com/ IG - https://www.instagram.com/donnacravotta/ FB - https://www.facebook.com/cravottamediagroup LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/donnacravotta/ Substack - https://donnacravotta.substack.com/  In this episode you will learn: 1. Why "reinvention" is actually just imposter syndrome wearing a new outfit, and what women over 50 actually need instead of a brand new identity — The world tells women that everything they did before a certain age no longer matters and that moving forward means becoming someone else. Donna rejects that completely. Through her Tried and New methodology, women start remembering the things they forgot, dismissed, or didn't think anyone would care about, and discover they already have decades of evidence proving exactly who they are. No imposter syndrome gremlin can stand against that.   2. Why women over 50 are not winding down — they are just getting started, and what 175 plus interviews with women redefining success in their third act actually revealed — Donna built The Real 50 Over 50 because brilliant, impactful women were completely invisible while Forbes required a $10 million income minimum just to be considered. What she discovered interview after interview was the same thread every single time: they weren't ready to stop, they wanted to make a difference, and the moment they started remembering who they were, they hit the HOV lane and never looked back.   3. Why remembering is harder than reinventing, and the one tangible first step anyone can take right now to pull the thread that unravels everything — Reinvention is just another task list. Remembering is soul level work. It means connecting dots you didn't know were connected and giving yourself permission to see failures as redirections. Donna's first step is simple: think of one moment when you created real change for someone and genuinely felt good doing it. Start there. Pull that thread. The rest will follow. “The real recognizable moment was about three years ago. I was at the tail end of a health issue that had lasted a while." - 00:02:48 "Re-invention is just another task list. It's things to do. Remembering, it's hard work. That is, that's soul level work." - 00:21:24 "Trust yourself. Just trust yourself because I think that's where all the problems stem from.” - 01:05:11 Introducing Amplify Your Message: The Podcast Guest Mastery Experience, built from everything I've learned across 800+ interviews and six-plus years of hosting this show. Breaking Bullsh*t and Igniting Light: How Soul Language Transforms Personal Truth with Jennifer Urezzio

My guest today is Jennifer Urezzio. Jennifer Urezzio is a Soul-whispering, BS-incinerating, divine codebreaker who moonlights as an intuitive strategist but secretly operates as a full-time interdimensional translator for your Soul’s deepest truth. She didn’t just found Soul Language—she channeled an entire spiritual dialect from the primordial soup of the Divine and turned it into a system that makes your therapist weep and your higher self applaud. She’s the one the angels call when they need a communications upgrade. In this episode we discuss soul language, modern spirituality, soul communication, overcoming scarcity mindset and consciousness evolution. Website - https://soullanguage.us/ IG - https://www.instagram.com/soullanguagefounder YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/c/JenniferUrezzio LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/jenniferurezzio/ Podcast - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/asked-and-answered-by-soul/id1537594615 In this episode you will learn: 1. What Soul Language actually is, and why it's the only framework that evolves with you rather than putting you in a box and leaving you there — Unlike Human Design, Enneagram, or archetypes, Soul Language is an evolutionary paradigm that grows as your consciousness grows. Born from a vision on a massage table covered in red clay, Jennifer's framework gives tangible words to three core soul energies: your mission, how you feel that mission, and your soulful personality. When you know those words, you stop operating from pain and programming and start using your energy consciously.   2. Why "not enough" is the biggest lie humanity collectively tells itself, and the only three root fears every human being is actually running on beneath all the noise — There are only three core limiting beliefs: that you are unworthy, that you are unworthy of love, or that love is conditional. Everything else is just a branch on one of those three roots. The soul's message is always the exact opposite. The human's job is to stop letting the mind's illusion of safety drown that message out.   3. Why you are your own channel, and why trying to control anyone else's programming is a complete waste of the one resource you actually have — You are on your own channel. Everyone else is on theirs. You are all just making cameo appearances in each other's shows. You are responsible for your programming and no one else's. And the one question that unlocks your soul's communication every single day is deceptively simple: what do I need to know today? “I was the kid that you could leave in her room for hours and I would read or I would invent games or stories or, you know, I didn't really have dolls." - 00:02:12 "I think the message that the soul always says is that you are enough, that you are worthy. " - 00:31:25 "Stop believing that you're anything but whole and complete.” - 00:58:19 Introducing Amplify Your Message: The Podcast Guest Mastery Experience, built from everything I've learned across 800+ interviews and six-plus years of hosting this show. Brad's Corner Episode 9: The Invisible Labor That Women Carry

Brad Walsh is an International Speaker, Soul Visibility Guide, podcast host/producer, photographer, and #1 International Best-Selling Author who helps women step into their power and men become compassionate leaders. Through Empowerography, a Top 1.5% Globally Rated Podcast, he has held space for 800+ conversations with extraordinary women, creating a movement to EMPOWER, ELEVATE, and EDUCATE voices around the world. I would like to personally welcome you to Brad's Corner, a new series under the Empowerography Podcast umbrella, a space where I share raw reflections, personal insights, and the lessons I've gathered from the incredible women I've had the honor of interviewing. In Episode 9 of Brad's Corner, Pattern #3 in the Lessons from 800 Women Series, Brad tackles one of the most consistent and quietly devastating threads that has emerged from 800 conversations with extraordinary women. It's called invisible labor. And once you see it, you cannot unsee it. This episode is equal parts education, personal confession, and a direct call to action, especially for the men listening. This Episode Explores:   •     What invisible labor actually is, and why it's designed to go unnoticed, which is exactly the whole point of it.   •     Why this pattern shows up across every industry, every income level, and every title — from stay-at-home moms to CEOs running multi-million dollar companies.   •     Why most men don't see this labor, and why it's not malice, it's structural blindness.   •     Brad's personal story, what he saw when he looked back at how his mom and grandmother ran their home after his parents' divorce, and what it took for him to finally see it for what it was.   •     A specific, actionable challenge for every listener, especially the men, to take one piece of invisible labor off someone's plate this week, without being asked, without making it an announcement, and without expecting a thank you. Key Insights: •     Invisible labor isn't just the physical stuff, it's the mental and emotional load that runs in the background of a woman's day, constantly, that most people never clock as work.   •     The absence of a problem IS the labor, and we're wired to notice problems, not the quiet prevention of them.   •     Most men aren't bad guys for not seeing it, they were never given the lens to see it in the first place.   •     You can't support what you refuse to see, seeing the invisible labor is the first act of real allyship. Key Message: This week, name one piece of invisible labor that someone in your life is carrying, your partner, your mom, a colleague, whoever it is, and then take it off their plate, without being asked, without making it a big announcement, without expecting a thank you. Not because you're trying to be a hero, but because seeing it, actually seeing it, is the first step of allyship. You can't support what you refuse to see. "It's called invisible labor, and once you see it, you can't unsee it." - 00:01:36 "The absence of a problem is the labor. Let me say that again for you, the absence of a problem is the labor, and we are wired to notice problems, not the quiet prevention of them." - 00:04:10 "You can't support what you refuse or don't see." - 00:06:53 Contact Brad: Website Instagram LinkedIn YouTube X (Twitter) TikTok Substack #Empowerography #BradsCorner #InvisibleLabor #MentalLoad #EmotionalLabor #AllyshipInAction #LessonsFrom800Women #SeeTheLabor #StructuralBlindness #DefaultParent #HoldingItAllTogether #YouCantSupportWhatYouRefuseToSee #Podcast #PodcastHost #MaleAlly #

Stop Waiting to Be Chosen; Naowshaba Ferdous on Getting Seen, Paid and Unapologetically Yourself

My guest today is Naowshaba Ferdous. Naowshaba Ferdous is a business strategist from Washington DC who helps ambitious women all over the world get seen, remembered, and paid by building businesses rooted in clear thinking, strong messaging, and personal branding. In this episode we discuss visibility, leadership, business strategy and self-advocacy. Website - https://www.naowshaba.com/ IG - https://www.instagram.com/naowshaba FB - https://www.facebook.com/share/g/19rqZrn8n9/?mibextid=wwXIfr In this episode you will learn: 1. Why waiting to be chosen, waiting to feel ready, and waiting for external validation are the three most expensive habits ambitious women have, and the identity shift that has to happen before any strategy ever works — Most women's business problems are not strategy problems, they are identity problems. Until a woman sees herself as someone whose work is genuinely capable of changing lives, she will keep watering down her messaging, undercharging her offers, and playing small while calling it being strategic. The first question every invisible woman needs to ask herself: what do I want to be known for?   2. The study that proves women can't win either way, and why giving yourself permission to be disliked is actually the most strategic business decision you can make — Women who self-advocate in the workplace are seen as unlikeable. Women who don't are seen as passive and unambitious. If those are the only two options, give yourself permission to be disliked. At least then you are claiming your space and being recognized for what you bring. People are going to dislike you at every stage of your life anyway. You cannot control that.   3. Why taking full responsibility for your resultsn including the failures, is not a burden but the most empowering reframe available to any woman in business — If your failures are a byproduct of your actions, thoughts, and behaviors, then so is your success. That is not pressure, that is power. Stop outsourcing blame to wrong timing, wrong algorithms, and wrong circumstances. You are the driver. Coaches and mentors are just passengers, and your income will shift the moment you stop waiting to feel ready and start doing it messy. “I think that for the most part, I think juggling throughout my entire life, I've always tried to be palatable." - 00:02:15 "The women who self-advocated in the workplace were seen as generally unlikable and just negatively, perceived negatively. The Power of Asking Angels: Lannie Reid’s Practical Tips to Connect With Divine Guidance

My guest today is Lannie Reid. Lannie Reid is an intuitive medium, teacher, healer, and Certified Joy Facilitator devoted to empowering women to reconnect with their inner wisdom and divine guidance. With over 20 years of experience in intuitive and spiritual development, she lovingly guides others to connect with their Angels, inner guide, and higher self so they can move through life with clarity, confidence, and joy. She is the author of Know Your Angels: Embracing the Angels’ Messages and Love into Your Life and co-author of Be Light to Raise Light, published by Hay House. Through her writing, workshops, and teachings, Lannie shares tools for intuition development, connection, meditation, and deep healing. In this episode we discuss divine guidance, our angel teams and guides, surrender, inner wisdom and chronic pain healing. Website - https://www.lanniereid.com/ IG - https://www.instagram.com/lanniereid/ FB - https://www.facebook.com/lanniereid/ In this episode you will learn: 1. Why MS taught her to fight and trigeminal neuralgia, the most painful medical condition known to medicine, taught her to surrender, and why both lessons were equally necessary — Lannie powered through her MS diagnosis when her kids were three and six. She fought her way through it and felt strong. Then trigeminal neuralgia arrived, years of unrelenting nerve spasms so severe she couldn't eat, drink, or function. No amount of strength could touch it. The only way out was surrendering to something greater than herself.   2. Why angels want nothing more than to help you and the one thing most people never do that stops them from receiving that help — Angels cannot go past your free will. If you don't ask, they won't come in. The biggest misconception is that you need to go through someone else to access divine guidance, or that you're simply not the kind of person who gets that kind of support. Everyone can connect. You just have to ask, give permission, and develop the awareness to notice when they show up.   3. What joy facilitation actually is, and why choosing joy is not toxic positivity but the most powerful frequency you can become to magnetize the life you actually want — Joy is not about pretending everything is fine. Lannie spent years in pain so dark that joy felt completely unreachable. She learned that joy is a frequency you choose one small moment at a time. A favorite cup of coffee. A grandchild's face. One better thought interrupting a loop. Pockets of joy, strung together, that eventually become the life you were meant to live. “I've always been somebody that could see spirit on the other side." - 00:03:33 "There are angels for absolutely anything. " - 00:26:54 "We have our own wings that we can, I've explained this a couple of different times on different, in different ways, but I feel like when we're able to open our own wings, which to me are etheric, they're attached to us.” - 00:48:13 Introducing Amplify Your Message: The Podcast Guest Mastery Experience, built from everything I've learned across 800+ interviews and six-plus years of hosting this show. From Grief to Growth: Jess Moyer’s Blueprint for Resilient, Joyful Living

My guest today is Jess Moyer. Jessica Moyer is a TEDx speaker, podcast host of The R.E.A.L. Wellness Podcast, three-time author, and certified leadership and wellness coach with over 25 years of experience helping individuals rise through adversity and lead with purpose. She is the creator of the R.E.A.L. Wellness Framework, a holistic approach centered on realistic changes, creating energy, taking action, and leading with love—designed to help people build sustainable health, resilience, and clarity in every season of life. Through her books, coaching programs, speaking, and faith-based approach to well-being, Jessica empowers individuals to reclaim their energy, strengthen their mindset, and live with intention. In this episode we discuss health and wellness, The Real Wellness Framework, loss, practical wellness tips and purpose. Website - https://jessica-moyer.com/ IG - https://www.instagram.com/jessmoyer/ YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/@jesstherealcoach FB - https://www.facebook.com/jessica.s.moyer.9 LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/jessica-moyer-290bb0b/ In this episode you will learn: 1. Why losing her son at nine months and her father years later became the foundation of Jess's life work, and the two painful truths those losses burned into her that she now teaches everyone around her — Jess's son Steven never had a choice about his health. Her father, a small-town doctor who cared for everyone else, never prioritized his own. Both were gone too soon. From those two losses came one unshakeable message: your health is the foundation of everything and nobody else is going to protect it for you.   2. Why the biggest lie sold about wellness is that there's a quick fix, and what real change actually looks like for someone who is already exhausted and running on empty — Jess's approach is simple: identify what's draining you first, then replace it with something so small you literally cannot fail at it. A glass of water before coffee. Five minutes of movement every hour. One thing a day that brings you joy. Real change is not dramatic, it's consistent, stackable, and built on what you will actually do.   3. What the REAL Wellness Framework is, and why leaders who ignore their health foundation are building on sand no matter how successful they look from the outside — REAL stands for Realistic, Energy, Action, and Love. Built from 25 years of watching what separates people who sustain their goals from those who fall off. The answer was never motivation or willpower. it was loving yourself enough to start, being resilient enough to get back up, and taking small actions that compound over time. “I think it was always in my heart that I knew this work was going to eventually come to fruition. It was part of my upbringing and health and wellness." - 00:02:07 "I think you can't lead from a place if you're not happy with your own self. " - 00:19:58 "Just remember why you're created and how short life really is and are you living true to yourself or to what society tells you?” - 00:41:35 Introducing Amplify Your Message: The Podcast Guest Mastery Experience, built from everything I've learned across 800+ interviews and six-plus years of hosting this show. Photogenic Can Go Kick Rocks: Meka Hemmons on Confidence, Cameras and Owning That Sh!t

My guest today is Meka Hemmons. Meka Hemmons is a Chicago-based portrait photographer, founder of SpiderMeka Portraits, and creator of the Calm Before the Camera™ confidence system. Known as “the heart surgeon with a camera,” she disrupts the beauty myth to heal what we see in the mirror… and helps individuals and professionals look natural, credible, and powerful in their online presence. Meka blends psychology, leadership insight, and visual storytelling to build trust through imagery. She is also a speaker, memoirist, podcast host of Unbeautifying, and author of the Corporate Headshot Day Playbook, a strategic framework for elevating team confidence and creating high-trust corporate branding. In this episode we discuss the calm before the camera method, being a confidence architect, the photogenic myth, photography and self-confidence. Website - https://spidermeka.com IG - https://instagram.com/spidermeka YouTube -  https://youtube.com/@spidermeka FB - https://facebook.com/spidermeka LinkedIn - https://linkedin.com/in/spidermeka In this episode you will learn: 1. Why "photogenic" is a dirty word, and what someone is really saying when they claim they're not photogenic — Photogenic is a made-up word that puts people into piles of worthy and unworthy and takes all responsibility off the photographer. A bad photo is never the subject's fault, it's the photographer's. And when someone says they're not photogenic, what they're really saying is they don't feel attractive to themselves. The person in the photo you most need to connect with is you.   2. Why the world is chronically dysregulated and calling it normal, and how Meka's Calm Before the Camera system uses nervous system regulation as the real foundation for confidence — We've normalized dysregulation because everyone around us is doing it. But it's not normal and it's why we get ill. Meka's framework starts by asking what's actually happening inside the person before the camera ever comes out. Your nervous system cannot be hidden, whatever is going on inside is coming out in your eyes, your breath, and your body language whether you know it or not.   3. Why confidence is not something you return to, it's something you build from exactly where you are right now — Trying to go back to the confident person you once were is not the goal because that person no longer exists. Stop asking "how do I look?" and start asking "what do I want them to hear?" That one shift moves you out of performance and into presence, and presence is the only thing that creates real connection. “So many times when we're feeling down about ourselves, the human of us know that the treatment is to help us." - 00:03:38 "Architecture is one of my favorite words these days, and what happens when we build things that are based on trend, or based on insecurity. " - 00:31:36 "This idea of un-beautifying is, once again, taking the current construct of what people think beauty is and inserting the truth.” - 00:57:42 Introducing Amplify Your Message: The Podcast Guest Mastery Experience, built from everything I've learned across 800+ interviews and six-plus years of hosting this show. Rewire in 72 Hours: The Science Behind Riana Malia’s Rapid Healing Techniques

My guest today is Riana Malia. Riana Malia empowers high-achieving women in midlife who’ve built a beautiful life, yet still sense something’s missing. Drawing on her training as a Board-Certified Neurosomatic Practitioner and Identity Architect, Riana developed the Clear to Create™ Method, a system that helps women clear the unconscious patterns holding them back, rewire their nervous systems, and reset their internal blueprints. She teaches them to embody and reclaim their deeper desires, so their relationships, careers, and lives finally feel as vibrant on the inside as they appear on the outside. In this episode we discuss 72 hour rewiring, unconscious patterns, magnet for miracles, frequency shifting and identity design. Website - https://rianamalia.com/ IG - https://www.instagram.com/rianamalia/ YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/@rianamalia FB - https://www.facebook.com/RianaMalia Brilliance Brunch - https://thebrilliancebrunch.rianamalia.com In this episode you will learn: 1. Why talking about your trauma in therapy, wine nights, and books keeps you living inside the story rather than on top of it, and the critical difference between standing IN your story and standing ON it — Riana did all the right things after her divorce, the DEA raid, the abusive relationship. But every time you retell a trauma, your body relives it because memory is cellular. The breakthrough came when she found a method that cleared the stored energy without going back into the story. Standing IN your story defines you. Standing ON it refines you.   2. What neurosomatic work actually is and why the unconscious blueprints running your life were mostly installed before you were seven years old — Your nervous system runs familiar programs to keep you safe, even when those programs are destroying your relationships and results. Riana's Clear2Create method doesn't require revisiting the original wound. It identifies the pattern, clears the stored energy from the body, and installs a new blueprint that matches who you want to be now, not who you had to be to survive then.   3. Why the problem is almost never a lack of resources, it's a lack of resourcefulness, and how one woman chose to break generational patterns instead of running from them — At 18 Riana had no money and no plan. At 34 she had guns drawn on her and hundreds of thousands in debt. Every time, her answer was the same, tap into the resourcefulness already inside you, keep your promise to yourself, and refuse to pass broken patterns to your daughter. That decision became the foundation of everything she now teaches “All of us in the world that do things that are impactful, it didn't come out of a perfect life, right? It didn't come out of everything's been easy." - 00:02:20 "You cannot solve a problem with the same mind that created it. " - 00:37:05 "Just because it's always been has absolutely no bearing on what it can be tomorrow.” - 01:06:28 Introducing Amplify Your Message: The Podcast Guest Mastery Experience, built from everything I've learned across 800+ interviews and six-plus years of hosting this show.
