Good on Paper
Have you ever heard a commonly held belief or a fast-developing worldview and asked: Is that idea right? Or just good on paper? Each week, host Jerusalem Demsas and a guest take a closer look at the facts and research that challenge the popular narratives of the day, to better understand why we believe what we believe.
Jerusalem Demsas is smart
Jun 9
Jerusalem Demsas is so smart it can be hard to keep up with her brilliant mind. She asks the incisive questions that you never knew you had. Highly recommended if you are interested in a critical eye on the intersection of policy, theory, and practice.
Good show but host is a speed talker
Jul 5
I really enjoy the subject matter of this podcast but host Jerusalem Demsas talks way too quickly, which makes for a very frustrating listening experience. I have about a dozen podcasts I listen to regularly and this is the only one I have to listen to in slow-mo, which distorts the voices. Anyone whose job includes public speaking knows that you have to slow down from your normal conversational speed, and if Demsas can learn this lesson, she’ll have a loyal listener in me.
