EP 49 - How Men and Women Communicate AND My Human Design

EP 49 - How Men and Women Communicate AND My Human Design

My guest today is someone who blew my mind at many points in this interview and I look forward to you hearing those moments!!

Jason Matthews is here to talk about two topics:

The first part of our discussion is around men and women and how we interact with each other and our peers. Jason and I discuss a few areas such as distrust and competition of needs.

The second part of our discussion is around Human Design and what it means, and then we discuss some of the results of my Human Design reading I had with Jason earlier this year. It is absolutely fascinating what he told me!  There were so many moments that now help me understand exactly why certain things have been more difficult for me - I know you will relate to this topic for sure!

EP 48 - Dissolving The Anchor To Create An Empowered Life - with H.I. Yates

EP 48 - Dissolving The Anchor To Create An Empowered Life - with H.I. Yates

My guest today is an incredible author and founder of Luv Mrk. Hailima Yates is here to talk with me about her book called "Dissolving The Anchor".  After a suicide attempt, Hailima wanted to stop feeling numb, sad and angry at the world. When life's challenges anchored her down, emotional distress kidnapped her spirit.  She needed to rediscover her power.

To change her life, Hailima faced the sources that birthed her fears, shattered her self-esteem, and created her self-sabotaging behaviour. Part memoir and part self-help guide, Dissolving the Anchor illustrates a journey from self-critical thoughts and suicidal ideation to an elevated mindset.

As a warning, this episode discusses suicide so if you are feeling vulnerable in this area, please consult with a doctor or mental health professional in your area.  Or call one of the Suicide Prevention numbers below.

The topic my guest and I are discussing today is one I can’t EVER imagine experiencing which is child loss.  Peggy Green is here to talk about the incredibly difficult loss of 2 of her 4 children, one at the age of 9 months old and then recently the loss of her son at the age of 24.

Peggy has taken the loss of her two kids and written a book titled “Life After Child Loss” which outlines 8 simple steps she took to survive and handle these deep losses.  These steps can absolutely be used in the grieving process for other loved ones as well.

Beautiful and Inspiring

I have been in the same social group with you a couple times now. My cousin knows you and rfound out about your podcast while recently socializing! I am a big believer in digging deep in your soul, mental health and finding your own path in life, and I love opportunities to grow emotionally. Things happen in mysterious ways and I don’t think it was a coincidence that I found you. I have only listened to one podcast so far and I am already so inspired and think this is amazing. I can’t wait to keep listening! Thank you for this service to help people. ❤️

Justin Steinhubl ,

Tiffany! You are my cousin and I have always looked up to you. Your podcast always makes me laugh historically or bawl uncontrollably. But your story and your determination is what makes me want to be a better person. Thank you for sharing your journey. Every hard beautiful part of it.

Love your cousin,

Justin

Real stories bring hope

I have enjoyed listening to this podcast as the real and raw stories remind me that no ones journey is seamless and perfect, but get it can still be beautiful. As I listen to Tiffany wrestle with the challenges they have faced, it gives me hope that I can also find meaning in my hard times. It gives me more grace for other families as well. Our stories are so powerful and I feel Tiffany is using her voice so well. Professionally recorded and engaging.
