Best Ever

This is the best podcast ever. Dave is hilarious, although I only pick up on 1% of his references. Incredible musicians talking about everything other than what you’d expect.

such a good podcast! no BS...just great conversation.

Raw and original, with a note of brilliance.

Drummers have taken a beating over the years variously for being drooling idiots, unable to screw in a lightbulb (or in anything else due to the giant, errr, ego of the frontman), incapable of coherent or consistent rhythmic methods, and for being resistant to accepting their place as one who merely hangs out with musicians.

I'd Hit That proves that the meter peaks at brilliance. Each episode features conversations that cover so much of the lives of these artists, creators, and wildly original personalities, showing the humanity behind those who choose to make their living as true musicians. Featuring more than just drummers, I'd Hit That brings us stories and perspectives on the world of music and beyond from every angle. No holds (or chords) are barred, no topics are verboten (other than endorsement name-drops), and every episode brings something new and fresh.

It is precisely what it is. No shiny polish, no pretension, and no apologies.
