Interesting Stories well told
Interesting stories, like a more specialized version of the Dollop. Told really well, Pat Sirois has a bunch of great turns of phrase and Kath Barbadoro is super charming.
Pat Ruins An Otherwise Good Show
The host is charming and presents the subjects in an interesting way. Pat has no understanding of how to add to a conversation and has no sense of what is interesting or funny vs what it just making noise. It’s too bad because otherwise it would be a brilliant show.
Good concept but...
For one thing, comparing this podcast to The Dollop is bizarre. That show has two extremely talented and experienced comedians. This show has one (Kath) that has potential and is sometimes funny. Unfortunately it also has Pat. I listened to a handful of episodes because I was interested in the subject matter but Pat always sounds like he has terrible cold. He slurps and swallows his own snot and saliva while he makes inane comments and laughs at his own “jokes.” It’s gross and it’s definitely not funny. He speaks so quickly and often stammers so it’s difficult to even understand him. This podcast also has significant sound issues with echoing and cutting out. They’d need to significantly clean up their act for this to be worth listening to.
