In Season 2 we look at a world just as shady and mysterious as MLMs, but one whose promises are at times even more bombastic and unfathomable: WELLNESS. What is it? Who sells it? And will it bring you eternal happiness…and, perhaps, eternal life?

PLEASE RETURN TO YOUR MAGIC FORMULA

Season 1 was absolutely fantastic. Almost always intriguing, very informative, and so well put together.

However, I have just begun season 2 and so far it is an unsubstantial and overly self indulgent. It’s like the host has suddenly deemed herself to be more interesting than any journalism she could do. I almost feel like I’d learn more about the world by watching an episode of the Kardashians.

Please return to what made your podcast so great. I know it must be so much work, but it’s worth it.

Season 1 is fantastic. Season 2 is poorly reported, and led by opinion.

Season 1 of this podcast was one of my most recommended podcasts. I loved the tenacious journalism and the stories. I felt like it exposed a real threat to vulnerable women.

Season 2 so far has been poorly researched and reported. It’s as though the host took the popularity of season 1 and has tried to turn it into an opinion podcast based around her personal beliefs. It’s really unpleasant.

I appreciated the unbiased journalism and interviews in season 1. Season 2 feels like a lot of poorly connected stories with little payoff. I’m not seeing any real threat to people being exposed. Just feels like the host is leading with her negative opinion.

Really frustrating. I’ll likely continue listening in hopes it improves, but I implore the host and producers to look at what made season 1 so special and try and bring back the fair, surprising reporting and storytelling. Season 2 is a miss.

Season 1 is Great

Season 1 was amazing and I was really looking forward to season 2. The wellness industry is something that should definitely be examined, but so far the season has been disappointing. I think it is missing personal stories from people affected by it or even just involved in it like season 1 had. Hoping the remaining episodes will be better.
