We will peer into the common areas of life where this habit can appear: career/finance, health/fitness, personal relationships, and purpose/meaning. You'll hear about a unique mindfulness technique that can help manage overthinking, as well as breathing exercises that can bring calm to your mind.

How To Build Muscle For Beginners - Ep 240
Want to know how to build muscle? The basics for beginners? This podcast breaks down the diet and exercise components to doing just that. Dr Jade helps us understand that just like losing weight requires a calorie deficit, so to does gaining muscle require a calorie excess. Calories matter and so do hormones. Not only do you want the extra calories, but you could also benefit from some of the hormones that are powerfully anabolic in their mechanism. Most importantly insulin. While research hints that there are many different approaches that can work for weight lifting, the big lifts that push the body to mechanical failure, metabolic fatigue and create a bit of muscle damage are likely going to be the ones that provide the most potent muscle growth in most situations. We hope you love the show.

How To Let Go Of Anger, Resentment, and Hurt- Ep. 239
All humans deal with anger, resentment, and hurt. Not all of us are able to let go of the feelings this suffering creates. And if we can't let go and move on our growth and potential are stifled. We all know someone who went through a difficult time and was degraded by it. We also can point to examples where people learned, grew, and elevated as a result. In this episode, Dr. Jade unpacks the three paths we can follow when hurt— the villain, the victim, and the victor (hero). He makes the case that the victim state is the one most people have difficulty with. Some feel being a victim is bad and want to bypass it altogether. Others seem to suggest the opposite. Dr Jade teaches an entirely different approach making the argument that being a victim for a time is a requirement, but you should never get stuck there.

On World Tragedy - Ep. 238
When tragedy hits many automatically revert back to their culture-level instincts immediately taking sides and picking a team. While this is an understandable reaction, it is also the worst thing one can do. It's this behavior that often inspires, cultivates and emboldens the base level human elements of society.
In this podcast Dr Jade argues that the only way to combat hate and hurt is to root it out, integrate it, and transcend it within ourselves first. When we do that successfully we stay true to our Next Level Human nature and become a positive example and standard for others to follow. While we can't stop tragedies from happening, we can stand as personal beacon of light on how to respond.
This episode makes the argument tha dualistic binary thinking, a destructive habit of the culture level is the seed of all division and hate in the first place. Two things can be true. We can support and uphold the rights, dignity, and freedoms of all innocent people while also not tolerating the base level destructive elements that reside on both sides. When we insist on choosing sides we are violating the integrative, holistic and inclusive aspects of the very source we derive from. We must understand that change may not end with us, but it can begin with us.

Customer Reviews
Factual and Non-Biased
Just listened to the COVID podcast and “WOW”! It was well researched, science based and extremely well explained using non-medical jargon. I appreciated that all sides were explained from the anti-vax and anti-mask movements to exploring and discussing complimentary medicine. Well done!! Definitely worth the listen!
