Mick’s Intros are so good!

I love the show and the interviews are fantastic, but I have to point out how great Mick’s intros are to every episode. he clearly has so much experience in show business, and understands trends, genre, and how horror fits within the greater film industry. You can also tell that Mick Garris has worked in publicity, because his copy reads so well. of course nobody tunes into podcasts because of great intros, but you can be sure that what follows those intros are deep-dive interviews with some of the best in the business. and it doesn’t hurt that Mick himself is a veteran filmmaker who’s been around the block a few times and knows damn well what he’s talking about.
